Blood Donation Camp was organised at Lal Field, Haflong Dima Hasao, today on 18/11/2025 to commemorating the 53rd birth anniversary of the Artist ZUBEEN GARG and honouring the rich legacy of the eminent musical icon.
The program was marked with blood donation from the Security Force s and BJP Karikartyas along with general public.

The program was attended by Shri. District launching of To***co Free Youth Campaign (TFYC)- 3.0 .with the theme for the year 2025 “Safeguard Students’ Health & Well-being”. The TFYC- 3.0 ( 15th Oct to 15th Dec’2025) programme is for 60 day program.The aim of the program was to generate awareness amongst the Students and Youth about the ill effects of To***co and To***co products and to free from it and to keep a healthy life style.
The programme was launched by Shri. Shhaurya Sharrma(ACS) in charge District Commissioner Dima Hasao. The program was attended by Dr. Jasmine Begum, Joint Director of Health Services, Dr. L. Veiphei SDM&HO in charge NTCP, Smti. Hamida Khan Principal Govt. Boys Hr Sec School, Haflong. The programme was actively participated by Health Department Staffs, Teachers and Students of Boys Hr. Sec. School, Haflong.

The Mega Health Camp(MHC) under “Susrusha Setu” initiative was held on 15/10/2025 at at N.L.Daulagupu Sports Complex, Haflong Dima Hasao under16-HAFLONG (ST) LAC, Dima Hasao. Marking the month long health care drive under “Seva Hi Samarpan: Seva Saptah”.
Total of registration of patients: 1758 and 177 patients were referred. The MHC focused on children below 18 years.Where screening for 50 plus diseases- heart, neurological, genetic lever, kidney, eye and ear conditions, etc., was done. The programme ensures free consultation treatment and referral services, to provide better health care services accessible at the grassroots level. Additionally 177 patients were referred for higher medical centers for specialized treatment.

The MHC was launched by Shri. Debolal Garlosa, Hon’ble CEM, DHAC, Dima Hasao in presence of Smti. Nandita Garlosa, Hon’ble Minister for Sports & Youth Welfare for Minorities and Development Dept., etc., Shri. Hen Samuel Changsan, Hon’ble EM, Health Dept., DHAC, other EM & MAC of DHAC, Shri. Partha S. Jahari( ACS) PS, DHAC, Smti. Rebecca Changsan ( ACS), Joint Secretary ( Health) DHAC, along with host of Health Dept. Staffs and officials and other line Dept., officials.

In context to Swasth Nari Swashakt Parivar(SNSPA) and Seva Saptha(SS) a programm was organised where distribution of Nikshy Mitra Food Basket for TB patients done. In addition other activities were carried out which comprise of Health Camp by specialist doctors,Blood Donation, Poshan Abhiyaan Activities.
Food baskets were ceremonally distributed to the TB patients and TB Champions by the digneteries.Screening of was done by specialist with concentrationon on over all womens health, blood donation was done by NCC cadets of Haflong Government College and others individuals. DPMU Poshan Abhiyaan and DHEW organised Poshan Mela by display of healthy food and enrolment of PMMVY.
The programme was attended by Shri. Amarsing Tisso, honorable MP Diphu Lok Shaba Constituency, Shri. Debolal Garlosa honorable CEM,DHAC, & Shri.
