The District Level Launch of National Deworming Day was organised at the Confrence Hall of the Joint Director Health Services.The programme was formally launched by Dr. Jesmin Begum Joint Director of Health Services by administering Albendazole Tablet to the benefeceries.
The programme was attended by Officials from Education Department, Social Welfare, RBSK(Schools Health) and host of officlas and staffs of health department.
Besides Albendazole tab was fed in the schools and Anganwadi Centres with active participants of the schools & Social Welfare Officals in the field level

Newborn Care Week and SAANS(Social Awareness And Action to Neutralize Pneumonia Successfully) program was observed at Post Netal Ward, Haflong Civil Hospital(HCH), Haflong. The program was attended by Dr. Kalpana Kemprai, Superintendent HCH Dr. Joyce Doungel Pediatrician, Dr. Neine Hrangkhol O&G, Dr. Phirhoi Hrangkhol O&G, DPMU Staffs along with the official and staffs of HCH.

During the program Dr. Joyce spoke on the prevention of pneumonia and other diseases that can be control by getting immunization. Further she encourage the parents and caregivers to take all vaccines timely and regularly.

Blood Donation Camp was organised at Lal Field, Haflong Dima Hasao, today on 18/11/2025 to commemorating the 53rd birth anniversary of the Artist ZUBEEN GARG and honouring the rich legacy of the eminent musical icon.
The program was marked with blood donation from the Security Force s and BJP Karikartyas along with general public.

District launching of To***co Free Youth Campaign (TFYC)- 3.0 .with the theme for the year 2025 “Safeguard Students’ Health & Well-being”. The TFYC- 3.0 ( 15th Oct to 15th Dec’2025) programme is for 60 day program.The aim of the program was to generate awareness amongst the Students and Youth about the ill effects of To***co and To***co products and to free from it and to keep a healthy life style.
The programme was launched by Shri. Shhaurya Sharrma(ACS) in charge District Commissioner Dima Hasao. The program was attended by Dr. Jasmine Begum, Joint Director of Health Services, Dr. L. Veiphei SDM&HO in charge NTCP, Smti. Hamida Khan Principal Govt. Boys Hr Sec School, Haflong. The programme was actively participated by Health Department Staffs, Teachers and Students of Boys Hr.
