Thank you my dear husband for getting me the ASL MAMA charm from CUT + CLARITY® LUXURY JEWELRY] x ’s necklaces. These necklaces resonated with me for 2 reasons. 1. I just became a mother to our almost 6 month old son who has been learning American, Israeli, and Russian sign languages. 2. I was born with in a a sign language environment. I’m very lucky that my parents are Deaf. They automatically gave me me access to the language. I consider it a big privilege of mine. However I’m just one of 10% Deaf/ Hard of Hearing kids who are born into a Deaf family. What about the other 90% deaf/ hard of hearing kids? Not many of them can communicate with their hearing family members. and CUT + CLARITY® LUXURY JEWELRY] work with SKI-HI institute’s National Deaf Mentor Program to raise awareness. 100% of the profits go to this program. Please join the wagon by buying and supporting their brilliant mother daughter jewelry so other Deaf kids will have access to a language at home like I did.

With Love,

Aneta

Plant-based milk 🌱🥛 alternatives like soy and nut milk have been trending for some time now; however, oak milk is now the new rising star!

Oat milk is more than a vegan alternative; it is an excellent choice for people with allergies or intolerances. It is naturally free of lactose, nuts, soy, and gluten (if made from certified gluten-free oats). Unless you are making your own oat milk, you can find oat milk in most grocery stores, and that's where the topic of this post comes in!

As you probably already know, the ingredient list often varies from product to product, and not all are created equal. Be aware of what you are putting in your body and look for the purest beverage with the best value. Keep an eye out for brands that contain added sugars, additives, thickeners, and emulsifiers that can harm your gut and digestive health.

Why do you drink plant-based milks 🌱🥛? Taste, allergens, environmental reasons, or something completely different? If you drink oat milk, which one is your favorite?  Let us know in the comments below! 👇

Are you ready to learn a little more about the art and science of interpreting your 💩 p**p?

Taking a close look at your gut health and how your gut microbes 🦠 are doing is so important! Studying your p**p helps you understand what is happening inside your body.

The lower gut aims to excrete substances that don't benefit the body, so being regular ensures that our body eliminates waste products and toxins.

Ideally, you should be looking for p**p that is soft and easy to pass and that you have bowel movements from 2-3 times a day. 🚽

Review the Bristol Stool Chart to get some insight into the state of your gut!

👉TYPES 1 & 2
Separate hard lumps or very lumpy sausage like stools indicate severe to mild constipation and often means discomfort or pain during bowel movements. Explanations for this could be dehydration, fiber imbalance, drastic changes to diet, or effects of medication or supplements taken.

👉TYPE 3 & 4
Long and smooth. Just the right consistency of softness. The gold standard in p**p!🥇 There is optimal water, waste & bulk to form a healthy stool indicative of a healthy diet & digestive system.

👉TYPES 5
Almost but not quite diarrhea, soft blobs with clear-cut edges indicate a lack of fiber, or an early indication of oncoming infection,  stress, food intolerances, or a drastic dietary change impacting your gut.

👉TYPES 6 & 7
Identified as mild to severe diarrhea - watery, mushy, and often requires an urgent trip to the toilet. It can indicate infection, illness, high stress, food intolerance, or a drastic dietary change. Seek medical advice if it continues longer than three days.
________

It is not normal to go a few days without a bowel movement, nor is it healthy to have too many loose or hard stools. If you notice your p**p exhibiting some of these conditions above, consider working closely with a functional medicine practitioner to determine the underlying cause(s) from diet, fluid intake, or lifestyle habits.

Happy p**ping! 💩

Do you eliminate 2-3x a day? How in tune are you with your body 💪? How well is your digestion? P**p is a topic that always comes up in my sessions with clients! Once understood, bowel movements 💩 are one of the easiest and most accessible ways to get a close look at your gut health and how your gut microbes 🦠 are doing.

So, start getting comfortable looking at it!

Keep an eye out for another post coming soon, elaborating on the art and science of interpreting your p**p! 💩

I can’t stop learning from .jess.md. Every time she talks, my eyes are open widely, my heart gets excited, and my brain is so ready to absorb information. My teachers this year are .jess.md, , , .josepharena, , .scanestraro, , and my clients. I’m very fortunate to have them as my support system.
jess.md mentioned that our body is our intuition. It’s the recipe for you. You listen and empower yourself to know your body. You don’t have to rely on your doctor or her for advice. Your body is smart enough to understand what’s going on. The key is to communicate within your body. When you feel there’s something off in your body it’s called “master communicators” so it’s just the body’s way of communicating with you. Your body is your teacher.

Winter squash soup feeds my soul in the autumn season, satisfiedly. Squash doesn’t just taste great, but it is actually great for you, too.

Squash is naturally rich in fiber, vitamin A, magnesium, vitamin C, calcium, folate and potassium. I love adding organic coconut milk without guar and toasted pumpkin seeds to a bowl of squash soup. Such a well balanced meal.

Winter squash is in this season’s harvest and its nutrients are at the peak now, so now is the time to enjoy it.

There are many different kinds of winter squash. They can be found at farmer’s markets some of types of squash are acorn (my favorite!), butternut, hubbard, spaghetti squash, kabocha, delicate, sweet dumping and sugar pumpkin.

Have you ever tried any/all of these? Which one is your favorite and why?

With Love,
Aneta

P.S. you should be souping if you’re not juicing. .
