Rethinking Chicken: 🍗 Why Whole-Food Plant-Based Might Be Better for Your Health 🌱🥦

Many people view chicken as one of the “healthiest” meats, but there are some things that rarely get talked about.

🔥 When chicken (or any meat) is cooked at high temperatures—especially grilling, frying, or broiling—it forms compounds called heterocyclic amines (HCAs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).

⚠️ These compounds form when:
• Amino acids and creatine in meat react under high heat
• Fat drips onto flames or hot surfaces and creates smoke that coats the meat

Research has linked HCAs and PAHs to:
🧬 DNA damage
🦠 Increased oxidative stress
📈 Higher cancer risk in long-term exposure

And that’s not the only concern with chicken…

In Book of Revelation 3:16, Jesus says He would rather us be hot or cold than lukewarm. That hits hard.

Lukewarm faith is comfortable.
It’s safe.
It blends in.

But we weren’t called to blend in — we were called to burn bright. ✨

Following Jesus isn’t about checking a Sunday box. It’s about daily surrender. It’s about obedience when it’s hard. It’s about choosing Him when the world is loud. 🙏

It’s time to stop dipping a toe in and go ALL IN.
All heart.
All trust.
