One of the greatest joys when you’ve got coeliac disease 😌🙌

That moment you walk into a restaurant and know they’ve got a separate fryer for gluten free, unbeatable!

Just a reminder though: even if a venue says they have “gluten free” options, it doesn’t always mean it’s coeliac safe. Always check about shared fryers and cross-contamination before ordering 👍

Spotted these Free From Box of Frogs in at the weekend! 🎃🐸

It’s not happened to me in a while, but I’ve definitely been there 😬🤢

For anyone new to coeliac disease, ‘glutened’ means accidentally eating gluten, sometimes through cross contamination or when something unexpected slips through - often due to labelling.

Even as someone who’s been gluten free for nearly 10 years, I’ve still been caught out. Mistakes can happen, and it doesn’t mean you’ve failed, it’s part of learning to live with coeliac disease.

If you’ve been through it, what helps you feel better afterwards? Share your tips in the comments — they might really help someone who’s new to it. 🧡

Spotted something new in 👀

have launched a new gluten free range of products with deli-style sub rolls and flatbreads! They are perfect for tearing and sharing, quick lunches or loading up the subs with your favourite fillings.

Gluten free finds at 👀

I spotted these mozzarella sticks and mac & cheese bites in the Free From aisle, both £3 each. Not sure if they’re brand new, but I’ve not seen them in my local store before!

Also… what’s the deal with gluten free mozzarella sticks? They always seem to vanish for months, then suddenly reappear in a random new brand or pack 😅

When the restaurant says they have gluten free options… but no separate fryer 😩

Always check if a separate fryer is used when you’re eating out — even if the menu states gluten free, shared fryers can cause cross contamination, meaning that food is no longer safe for those with coeliac disease.
