Earlier this afternoon, one of our Motorcycle officers was injured in a collision with a car near the intersection of Park Row Dr and Woodland West Dr.

The officer was transported to an area hospital and is expected to be okay. Chief Jones, members of our Traffic Division, and other APD employees have spent time with him at the hospital this afternoon. They reported that he's in good spirits and even cracked some jokes while they were visiting.

The driver of the car stopped and remained on scene following the crash.

The crash is currently being investigated to determine what happened.

Please keep our officer in your thoughts as we all wish him a speedy recovery. 💙

DBSA FORT WORTH &TARRANT COUNTY can no longer meet at BAYLOR SCOTT AND WHITE ALL SAINTS HOSPITAL. Baylor Scott and White has a new policy that non profit groups and others can no longer meet at their hospitals. We are actively working on trying to find a new place to meet. All future meetings have been cancelled until we find another place.
I am truly sorry for having to cancel. I cared so much for everyone who came through our door and am looking for a place where we can keep everything free.
We may have to change times and days. I will keep everyone informed as much as I can. Yes our web site is down at this time until we can meet again and get donations.
Again this hurts me very much having to cancel.
