Second EAU-IUA Educational Meeting: Uro-oncology / Infertility Updates

This educational meeting is the second mutual scientific meeting of the EAU and IUA. First EAU-IUA educational meeting was held successfully in the year 2012 with the presence of urologists from different countries like Lebanon, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, India and Iran. This year's theme will be oncology and male infertility. The scope of the meeting is to assemble the best lecturers of the world with interesting case presentations and discussions to provide the opportunity for the urologists of the regional countries to interact more about the most prevalent diseases with the European faculty members. Some of the highlights of this educational meeting include short lectures, patient presentation - case discussion, in addition to debates with the regional and European experts. The registration fee is considered the least to enable the young urologists as well as the urologists from the regional countries to participate. Along with the scientific programs, participants could enjoy sightseeing, touristic attractions and get to know the regional countries' urologists.

On the second day, after 12 fruitful interactive sessions, closing of the meeting was announced. In this session, Professor Sanadizadeh - Iranian Urological Association President - revealed his deep gratitude to all participants and particularly appreciated the guests from overseas for their participation. He also emphasized on the essential role of professor Abrahamsson, professor ArtibAni, Professor Hosseini and also the sponsor companies: IPSEN, Darian Salamat and Darian Darou for their facilitation of holding this successful meeting.

Today, 1.25.2013, the Second EAU-IUA Educational Meeting started at 8:00 o'clock in the morning with welcome speech by Professor Sanadizadeh, the IUA president.

After that, the opening ceremony continued with Professor P.A Abrahamsson's welcome speech as the EAU secretary general. Then the chairmen of the meeting Professor W Artibani and professor J Hosseini introduced the whole meeting.
