PRODUCT EDUCATION- Wintergreen

The main constituent of Wintergreen is "Methyl Salicylate" which is related to the chemical that makes aspirin! This constituent give Wintergreen it's anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-spasmodic and anti-rheumatic properties.

For these reasons, it naturally supports joints, muscles and pain. As part of the "Esters" group, it is also balancing to the nervous system.

For the next few days, I will be sharing some of my favorite Spring diffuser blends. I love how I essential oils allow me to customize the fragrance in my home, while supporting my family’s health. This blend is called, “April Showers”, because it has that earthy smell after a spring rain. I love how the air smells after a rain. Vetiver is perfect for this blend because, it is distilled from the root, and has a very earthy- soil smell, which is grounding and relaxing. The lemon is bright, clean and fresh- like after the rain washes everything away. Here’s the blend:
Add 3 drops of vetiver, and 4 drops of lemon into the diffuser and enjoy!

I wanted to share this for those of you who have not yet discovered the awesomeness of the loyalty rewards program. Here is a screenshot of the points I earned this past month from ordering through the loyalty rewards program. 133!!! That's $133 in FREE oils I get to cash in this month, or save up. Loyalty rewards is the smartest way for members to order, because not only do they earn points back on their orders, but they also get their shipping cost back in points too. It saves our family so much money. It's not an additional expense because we buy things we're already buying regularly (i.e. Shampoo, conditioner, vitamins, laundry detergent, all-purpose cleaner, deodorant, etc) but doing it through Doterra instead. Then I can use the points to get my oils for FREE, even the more expensive oils like Melissa or Frankincense.
