We reached Valentine’s Day ❤️ which means the Love the Process New Year Accountability Challenge has come to an end!
I’d genuinely love to hear — how did you all get on?
Did you stay consistent right through to the end?
Did motivation dip towards the final stretch? (I’ll admit as you can see below mine did a little with work pressures!)
The aim was never perfection — just building the habit of turning up, even when it wasn’t ideal.
Did you find it helpful?
Would you be interested in similar accountability challenges in the future?
Your feedback shapes what I run next — and I’ve really enjoyed watching everyone quietly putting the work in 💜

Quite amusing.......jumping on the bandwaggon...which is not like me but hey ho!

💛 Something new is coming to The Hub… 💛
To celebrate finishing our 35 Day “Love the Process” challenge, I wanted to mark it with something special, social and outdoors…
So I’m launching

🐾 Loki’s Legs & Leashes 🐾

A friendly walking group for anyone who fancies fresh air, movement and good company.

You can come along with or without a dog

Our very first one will be a Valentine’s Day walk to celebrate the end of the challenge together ❤️🧡💛💙💜💚❤🧡💛💜💙💚💛❤🧡💙
Spaces are bookable on the Mindbody app or via the Hub website
(and yes… the more the merrier!)
Whether you’ve done the challenge, want to start moving more, or just fancy a social stroll — you’re welcome.
Loki is already excited 🐶

Midweek Musings
I am ridiculously excited this week because the National Running Show at the NEC is finally here… and honestly, it feels like Christmas for runners
I’m especially buzzing to hear some truly inspirational speakers, including Sarah Webster. If you don’t know her story… she set the women’s 24-hour world record, winning the European and World Championships by running 278.622 km on a 1.5 km track. Let that sink in for a moment. Absolutely mind-blowing.
I’m also really looking forward to hearing Lucy Gossage, winner of last year’s Spine Race — grit, resilience and determination in human form.
And then there’s Dean Karnazes and Tom Evans… plus so many more incredible athletes and stories that remind us what the human body (and mind) is capable of.
Add in all the stands full of goodies, kit, merch, and shiny new innovations and honestly… I just can’t wait.
This weekend is the highlight of my year and I’ll be soaking up every second 💜

If you’re going — say hi. If you’re not — expect me to come back absolutely buzzing with inspiration

So yesterday Loki & I headed out on his 1st proper cannicross race with Big Bear Events. It was very cold and wet but we had a fab time, both got medals 🏅 😀 and covered a marathon distance. I'm super proud of him, he was (mostly) on his best behaviour. Well done Loki 👏 you amazing little man 🐾 🐾 🐾

Also...just had a quick look at the results...we came in 6th in the Female category!!! Loki is not female though so not too sure it counts 🏐⚽️ 🐕‍🦺🏀🎱

This image quietly sums up my year.
Early mornings. Muddy shoes. Data, reflection, and showing up.
A community that’s grown around movement, care, conversation, and connection.
Thank you to everyone who’s been part of The Runners’ Hub this year — whether you’ve run, rehabbed, trained, chatted, or simply supported from the sidelines. It genuinely means more than you know 💜
If your year was a still life… what would be in it?

Today I’m sharing my actual results so far from the Love the Process – 35 Day Accountability… and spoiler alert: it’s not perfect.
There are two days where I didn’t tick all the boxes. And that’s exactly why I’m sharing it.
Because this isn’t about being flawless.
It’s about showing up again after a wobble.
Life happens. Work gets busy. Energy dips. Motivation wobbles.
One day off doesn’t undo all the good you’ve already done – giving up does.
So if you’ve had a day (or two) go awry, you haven’t failed, you don’t need to “start again”
- you just… pick it back up 💜
That’s the process. And learning to trust it is the real win.
How’s everyone else getting on with their 35 days? What’s gone well so far?
And what have you found tricky?
Let’s be honest, supportive, and keep moving forward together
