The Fitness & Nutrition Mission:  Carol Jacob, BS, NDTR Fitness and Nutrition on a MISSION To end the trend of obesity by helping one person at a time This is not another crash diet.

I am on a mission to help people achieve their health & fitness goals. Learn how to lead a healthier lifestyle through exercise, stress reduction, adequate sleep and proper balanced nutrition. I want to teach people that you can change the way you live your day to day. Being consistent, motivated, positive, and not to get overwhelmed about the big goal. The key is taking it one day at a time. It is not too late, and as a result you will be live a longer, healthier, happier and more energetic life. I am here to offer guidance and support to help people achieve their goals from day 1. You CAN DO THIS, lets do it together!!

What is keeping you from success❓❓

People helping people........

Most of you probably know about the devastating results of flooding that parts of Louisiana are dealing with right now.

Some people have lost EVERYTHING!!

I want to do something to help and I hope you will too.

Are you on your health & fitness journey and find yourself getting discouraged because the number on the scale isn't moving?!?😡🤔

Here are some ways you can track your progress OTHER than the scale

1. You are better, faster and stronger!
-you used to huff and puff to go up 1 flight of stairs and now you don't even think twice about it👍🏻

2. Your doctor is happy about your labs/blood work!
-Even a small amount of weight loss can lead to big benefits. Like lower blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar👍🏻

3. You LIKE how your clothes fit!
-You are not constantly pulling and tugging where your shirt is too tight. Or think about how you can't wait to change your pants when you get home because the waist it cutting off your circulation. Never a good feeling ☹️

4. You don't HATE working out, you are maybe starting to even look forward to it a little

5. You are able to say "No Thanks" to your kryptonite foods.

6. You just feel good!! More energy and less stress!!

Celebrate all the great things that come with exercise and eating clean!!

I'm Carol, mom of 2, step mom of 2, wife to an awesome husband, daughter to 2 great parents, have a Bachelors degree in Nutrition Sciences, NDTR (Nutrition & Dietetic Technician, Registered), work a full time job AND a Nutrition and lifestyle counselor.

Some of you know me personally. Some of you know me through what you see on social media. You may think I have it all together because perception is everything. But in all honesty...I DON'T. I do MY best each day.

What I DO KNOW is that I LOVE my job helping people. Teaching through sharing.
If I inspire one person to make a change in their health then I've succeeded.
If I have made them see a difference in how they treat there own body through quality nutrition and self love then it is a win for me.
We are not perfect, but perfection is not the goal. It is about progress.
Taking steps forward instead of back while not to get overwhelmed.
