We can all agree that these times feel challenging on many levels. That’s why I find yoga such a valuable practice - it offers simple, accessible tools to help us find steadiness and ease in the midst of the unknown.
When insecurity or restlessness arises, try these practices to regulate your nervous system and feel more grounded:
~Asana
Viparita Karani (Legs Up the Wall Pose)
This gentle inversion is one of the most restorative yoga postures. By placing your legs up against a wall (or supported on a cushion/bolster), the body naturally shifts into relaxation.
Uttanasana (Standing Forward Fold) with attention to the grounding of your feet and the length through the back of your legs.
~Pranayama
Practice 10 rounds of Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing), beginning with the left nostril, to restore balance and calm.
~Mindful Walking
Walk barefoot with intention. Imagine your feet kissing the earth. Try synchronizing each step with your breath. Inhale as one foot connects, exhale as the other steps forward.
~Grounding Rituals
Create a tea ritual with a grounding herb, such as mountain tea. Sip slowly, allowing presence to settle into each breath.
In yogic tradition, the nose (sense of smell) is linked with the earth element and Muladhara (root chakra). Diffuse or apply grounding essential oils like cedarwood, sandalwood, or thyme to support steadiness.
🌿Remember: grounding practices don’t remove uncertainty, but they may root us deeply so we can meet life with more calm and clarity.

My name is Eirini which is also the Greek word for Peace. For me, Yoga translates into making peace with ourselves, uniting the body, mind and breath and allowing the mind to sink into the heart. Then peace arises as we fully surrender to the stillness of the mind.
As a Yoga instructor, I encourage people to experience the deeper levels of their existence by combining steady breath with strong movement and precise alignment, while always ensuring a safe practice for everyone.
My intention is to raise self-awareness, helping people to unlock their full potential as human beings. In that context, I will be sharing yoga related content through social media (Facebook and Instagram), including yoga asana (pose) and its benefits, pranayama (breath technique), meditation tips and some thought-provoking ideas.
About Me
Back in 2014, my curiosity about Eastern philosophy and the existential crisis I was going through led me to my first yoga class in Greece. Since then I have been a dedicated yoga practitioner making Yoga a way of life. After spending many hours on my mat, evolving my practice daily, I decided to make a step forward and fulfil my dream of becoming a yoga instructor. In October 2018 I completed my 200-Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training with Yoke Yoga in Melbourne, Australia and since then I have been teaching classes around Melbourne.
Also, I am a Design Engineer and my area of expertise is Human Centered Design and methods dealing with human problems from all the possible aspects. My studies enhanced my empathy and urged me to always search for ways to improve people’s lives and make a positive impact on the world.
I am also a vegetarian and I do enjoy practising nudism on beautiful beaches. Besides that, I love reading, watching movies, camping and spending quality time with friends.
