Like all great products, ours has an amazing back story.

It was literally by chance that I was in Rarotong when I was...

And met the owner of the tree that would become one of the foundation ingredients for our Healing products...

We were about to help ourselves to some moringa leaves from his tree...

We left with a branch so huge it barely fitted into our tiny car...

It took quite an effort to get it back out...

It sat drying in the shade...

And inspired thoughts that would never have happened without that branch, from that tree and the healing stories from its owner...

Now thousands of Kiwis have been freed from itchy skin, and the original product is now part of a full range.

A journey of the best kind.

When I say 'Night Renewal Lifting Cream', I really mean it.

I've worked with facial skincare for decades.

This is hands down one of the best products I've ever used.

It has multiple active ingredients - the one that makes the biggest difference is a clever peptide (naturally derived) that helps the small facial muscles improve ATP output.

That means they can generate more anaerobic energy, which means they can get firmer - up to 17% firmer.

To help this along, I include a little facial workout (totally optional but kind of fun).

So, when you have the underlying muscles get a little firmer, the skin get a little stronger, smoother and softer, the end result is very much noticeable.

Received an email yesterday (from a Meta Rep), with a very original version of our brand name.

Lots of people pronounce the name incorrectly - totally fine with that. I did create it in the weird catacombs of my brain & I am all for creativity and interpretation, but 'Belly Bar' was a bit much of a stretch!

Baliba is pronounced 'Bally-Baa' 😀. Nothing to do with body piercings at all (although that is quite a good name for a soap product).

A number of weeks ago, someone who I had until that time thought of as a friend saw a post of mine about one of my magnesium products and launched a bit of an unsolicited assault via messenger.

She believes topically applied magnesium does not work. Of course, she hasn't tried it.

Then a customer phoned to order some more magnesium because it's been so helpful for her 80-something Mum's pain. The pain is all but gone and she's sleeping much better.

From this we learn that friendships are fragile and that the proof is in the trying.

Just a bird - taking shelter in a moringa tree.

Smart bird.

Birds are amazing.

Don't know if I've ever told you about the time we found a bird with one leg stuck in a fence paling.

It took us a while, but we managed to free it. It seemed to know we were trying to help (or maybe it was just exhausted).

Anyway, once it was eventually free (and apparently uninjured), the bird flitted off - slowly testing its wings first with s short distance then progressively further each time.

Then suddenly an entire tree not far away EXPLODED with birdsong. We think they were watching - cheering once this bird was free. It was a magic moment. We felt very honoured to be cheered by the birds.

We should take lessons from birds. Every bird matters.
