You say you’re training hard. But are you really?

You sweat a bit. Feel the burn. Maybe even get sore.

But are you pushing? Are you progressing? Or just moving?

Most guys I speak to are working out. Few are actually training.

That’s the difference between staying stuck and getting stronger.

If you want real results, you’ve got to stop going through the motions.

Train like it matters. Or don’t complain when nothing changes.

Your choices compound. And when you want to have a doughnut and a bag of Haribo as your first meal, you think of your future self and choose eggs, spinach and toast.

The same goes for decisions in every aspect of your life.

I don’t train to impress anyone.

I train because it keeps me sharp.

I’ve felt what it’s like to drift.

To be strong once, then slowly fall off.
To feel your body start working against you.
To look in the mirror and not recognise yourself.

That’s why I train.

Because at this age, my strength is a choice. And I refuse to let age win.

I’ve got people to lead, people to look after, and a life to live fully.

This isn’t about vanity (although looking good is a nice side effect)

It’s about being fit enough, strong enough and healthy enough to lead by example.

The business leaders I train don't have time to waste.

Every minute of their days is scheduled out in advance and that includes their training sessions.

In the diary. Scheduled.

They follow systems that work, and that are built for their hectic lives.

Building bodies to perform and to lead, not just to look good on a beach (although I guarantee they will do 👊🏾)

Your health isn't a luxury, it's what gives you an advantage.

Abs are cool. They always will be. Especially the older or heavier you are 😉

But imagine moving pain-free, feeling strong, and getting through your day without stiffness?

After spending hour after hour behind a desk and in endless meetings and conference calls, that’s what most of you over 40 really need.

Just like your nights out, your goals in the gym shouldn't be the same as they were when you were 25.

It's time to grow up.

Train for strength. Train for function. If you do that, then the abs will come as a side effect.
