Ongoing indigestion or heartburn isn’t something to just put up with.
Speak to your GP if you have:
• Heartburn, acid reflux or indigestion for three weeks or more
• Pain or difficulty when swallowing
• A persistent unpleasant taste in your mouth or regular hiccups
• Unexplained weight loss
Using indigestion remedies for a long time without review can hide more serious health problems. Getting symptoms checked early can offer reassurance or help diagnose problems sooner, when treatment is often more effective.

It’s Oesophageal Cancer Awareness Month.
Oesophageal cancer is often diagnosed late because its early symptoms look like “just heartburn” or “nothing serious.” That delay costs lives.
Knowing the warning signs, supporting research, and talking about it openly can make a real difference for patients and families.
Persistent symptoms aren’t normal. Awareness matters. watch more at: https://youtu.be/TMgI7rpM_7A?si=bFhapUTxE5a5FYnh

Early detection saves lives. Quiet cancers don’t deserve quiet attention. Kidney cancer symptoms can be easy to miss and are often caused by something harmless.
But if they persist, getting them checked matters. This week is Kidney Cancer Awareness Week and we’re encouraging people to trust their instincts and speak to a healthcare professional if something doesn’t feel right. More at: https://www.kcuk.org.uk/kidneycancer/

Cervical Cancer Prevention Week

Cervical screening saves lives, but not everyone is being reached equally.

By improving access, building trust, and offering inclusive services, we can help more people take up cervical screening and reduce health inequalities.

If you’re eligible, book your cervical screening.
If you know someone who’s unsure, encourage them.
