We've been exploring the Water element in this week's classes 🌊

Do you flow like water?
Are you rigid like ice?
Are you hot and bubbling?
Are you a calm lake?
Are you feeling stagnant and sludgy?

Whichever you most resonate with today, you can be sure that just as water changes and adapts constantly, so will your thoughts, feelings and emotions.

The water element encourages us to tap into our emotional bodies, honor our intuition and follow our hearts 💕

Which form of water resonates with you this week?

This week's mini moment is a short meditation or mantra practice to invite a little more acceptance into your week and to remind you that your self worth isn't defined by how much you get done 🙏

In class this week we've been exploring the Earth Element.

It’s surprising just how easily we can lose connection to the earth. Spending hours indoors, driving, wearing shoes and fixating on screens all creates a disconnection between ourselves and the earth.

Reconnecting to the earth element is about doing less rather than adding more. Simplifying, letting go and getting back to our most primal selves can help us feel grounded and earthed again.

Reconnecting to the earth element and feeling more ‘grounded’ can be as simple as taking time in nature and really noticing your surroundings—stopping to take a purposeful breath in, to hear the birds singing, or to feel the texture of a flower or leaf.

How are you going to re connect to the Earth this weekend?.

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare?-

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows:

No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass:

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night:

No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance:

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began?

A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

I had the best morning with on Saturday, running a half marathon distance through the Chilterns.

13 miles of beautiful trails, a well stocked snack stop half way with a full table of vegan goodies, running guides that keep you motivated, navigate and give you running tips and info about the local area - what's not to love?

I LOVE their motto - "Exploring places... Not running races" - this is what running is about for me. Getting outside and exploring the trails with no expectation of pace or pressure to complete the distance in a certain time or to PB.

So many people ask "what was your pace" before asking "did you enjoy it?"

I think you can see from the photos I had the best time and I can't wait to join another event.

Trail Marathon in 2026? 👀

🍂 October Sunday Sadhana 🍂

Inspired by Autumn, this month we embraced letting go, slowing down and resting as this year begins the journey to its close.

A mantra that I think reflects this energy of letting go is Om Namah Shivaya

When we chant the names of the Gods, we are tapping into the energy of the deity.

Shiva is often described as the destroyer. But unlike typical ideas of destruction, Shiva’s acts serve the purpose of regeneration and renewal. This destruction is not a negative act but a necessary part of the cycle of life, making way for new beginnings.

We can use the energy of Shiva to help us shed old patterns, habits, and limitations to create space for growth and evolution.

And to create that space, we need to allow ourselves to slow down and draw inwards.

Thanks to everyone who joined for a beautiful morning of movement, sound, journalling and connection.

Trust. Flow. Surrender. Let go 🙏

See you next month 💕
