I drew this a couple of years ago. It is to show others the pain I deal with. Fibromyalgia is a chronic invisible illness that has many symptoms that you can't see and so hard to deal with on a daily basis. Believe me I know all too well.
Edit: There are other illnesses that also have debilitating pain and symptoms.

Pain management is a daily thing. Yet it helps when you have support of friends, God, some fur babies...and a lovable spouse

Pet Companions are great for people especially ones who deal with a lot of physical pain or even emotional pain. There's just something that can uplift your spirit when petting a fur baby like a cat or dog although some people love birds and fish too. Although they may be harder to pet. 😃 I always smile when I hear my cats purr.

I have two people companions. My husband I just adopted a 6 month old cat we named Adrian and we have our 4 year old, orange cat Rocky

Helping others is challenging when dealing with chronic pain and symptoms. Yet it's good to help others, In small or big ways. It's a distraction from pain and it probably boosts endorphins. It's good to not always focus on our pain.

For example. I was having a bad day of inflammation in my body, yet I knew I should keep moving and wanted to go to the store. I have an elderly neighbor who I invited to walk with me to the store. I helped her cross the street and made sure I looked after her while she shopped.
It wasn't a big thing I did, but it made her day. We had a good time together and I was able to learn more about her. And it put a smile on her face.. and mine too. I enjoyed the company while I shopped too.

Find ways to make your life a little easier when dealing with chronic pain. It's good to improvise.

For example. Because I deal with fibromyalgia and other health complications or health issues. I took my cat to a vet today. Instead of struggling to carry him in the cat carrier (because it's too heavy for me and causes my pain to flare), I put his cat carrier on a small luggage dolly and secured the carrier with a luggage strap. It helped me so much. And I didn't have to be concerned about pain increasing because of carrying it.

I deal with overall pain with fibromyalgia and chronic pain syndrome, among other health issues. There are times when my whole body is inflamed.

It's hard to figure out which place to put a hot pack on since I'm in pain all over.

I learned that an electric throw blanket helps my overall body pain a lot when I'm using it. It gets me all comfy and warm so I don't use it in the summer time.

This may help you too.
