AHIMA, as part of the Health IT End-Users Alliance, provided comments to the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) on a request for information related to regulatory reform on artificial intelligence.

The Alliance's feedback focused on the importance for regulatory policies related to AI to assign liability appropriately, protect patient privacy, ensure strong cybersecurity safeguards, provide robust transparency on AI data use and tools, and conduct thorough real-world testing of AI tools before deployment.
