We had Zach in town to do some training, he also does some of our photography. I decided to post this collage of photos from Zach in no special order or purpose. Some of these we will use in future marketing some will just be cataloged. Have a great weekend everyone!

Like many businesses our size we depend on our staff working as a team. Our team was exceptional last month and we had a great March. To reward the team our Master Chef Sidnei cooked a Brazilian BBQ for lunch. His wife Denise made a Chicken Lasagna and deserts as well. Christina and Julia made the sides.

It is so awesome having such a strong team, we don't have any weak players. I don't think we have been this strong since before Covid and that nightmare.

BTW: Before we get judged for serving meat on Good Friday, this meal was served yesterday on Thursday.

Happy Easter and Passover, enjoy your family and friends!

Our featured appliance this week is an IPC Sagittal / Anterior Advancer. Also featured are a few pics of Jesse's great digital designs printed by Bertram. The IPC is activated by sliding the unidirectional lock to compress NiTi coil spring. The lock slides and clicks in 1MM increments giving the clinician total control. I truly think the IPC was the best idea I have ever had. The Inman Aligner had a great run but the IPC enjoys steady sales to this day.

Old School / New School......... Today in the lab this IPC case was shown to me by Jeff and Sidnei. It was different because it was Old School fitted bands but was TAD supported and had a unilateral IPC to distalize the upper right molar. The pic off the model shows the distalization that could be achieved. The coil looks short but only because the sliding lock was not advanced, that will be done in the mouth once seated. I sent the pics to Jesse (who is traveling today) and he said he saw the same appliance on Facebook today. I looked and found the pic from Huessein Saad which I have added to this post. Hence our Old School pics and his New School pic. I personally find this very interesting. Mr. Saad I hope you are OK with me adding your post, if not I will delete it immediately.

We have removed our last post because there seemed to be no interest in it. Let's see if this is more interesting to the group? This is a Invisible Inman Aligner. It is a combination of an Inman Aligner and a Clear Aligner. It is as aesthetic as Clear Aligners with the speed of the Inman Aligner. It is indicated when the anterior teeth are lingually displaced / relapsed and there is enough overjet to advance and round them out.

I am featuring these Phase One Inmans for several reasons. I apologize for the lighting but you can still see the awesome acrylic work by Christina and the great wirework by Sidnei. This account always wants both the active lingual and active labial components. However on these Phase One appliances you can almost always simply use a Bow laser welded to the Adams clasps. These appliances are good to gain space for the cuspids, jump anterior cross-bites and pre-align the centrals and laterals like you would with 4 X 2 mechanics. The red dot marked on the model is where we suggest the clinician adds a bump of composite to create an undercut to keep the lingual from riding up toward the incisal.

When we are asked to fit bands we print "impression trays" not models. I think EasyRX and Cadflow both offer this now. We have been doing this since we were able to print. We hired a CAD/CAM expert to create the process and shared it with everyone, never asking for a dime to share the technology. It is simply easier to fit bands and solder on stone models. The appliance featured here is a RPE with an IPC unilateral molar distalizer. Please see how Jeff used the trombone / pin and tube stabilizing bar to allow the expansion of the UR molar. People know us for the Inman Aligner but I truly feel the IPC was the best idea I have ever had.

I am not sure how many labs are adding Aesthetics to Function, but we do. Pictured is the first and the last in a series of Clear Aligners with pontics. Both arches were treated to accomplish this. Hopefully we will post the patient's results soon. I love these "outside the box" cases!

This could not be more true!

This could not be more true!

👉 Wanting more means nothing if your effort stays average.

You can’t talk about bigger goals while living on autopilot and calling it consistency.

The bare minimum keeps you comfortable, not fulfilled.

It keeps your dreams alive just enough to haunt you, not enough to happen.

Results don’t come from intention, they come from standards.

From choosing effort when excuses would be easier.

From doing what’s required even when it’s inconvenient and boring.

At some point, you have to stop pretending both paths lead to the same place.

Either commit to growth or accept where you are.

But stop lying to yourself about wanting more while acting like less is enough.👊💥
