10 years ago today this picture was taken as I completed radiation, the last step in my breast cancer treatment (aside from PT). I don’t have the appropriate words today, but my smile through the tears says it all in this photo. I’m grateful I captured this moment and am here to celebrate this milestone. 🤍 ***s

10 years ago today, my entire family surrounded me as I received my last chemo infusion. While I had more steps in my breast cancer journey ahead of me, finishing this part of my treatment with them by my side was a gift that I’ll always be grateful for. ❤️ Click the link below to see the celebration video ***s

10 years ago, on August 8th, my life changed forever when I received a call saying I had breast cancer. I can’t quite put into words the emotions that have come with reaching and celebrating this milestone. What I can articulate is that it feels monumental.

I’m fortunate that something within me demanded to be seen and scanned when I found my lump at 27 years old. Had I waited the 3 months I was told to, I would likely not be here today, according to my oncologist. That always makes me emotional to think about.

I share this not as a scare tactic, but rather to remind you that you must advocate for yourself — in all situations in life, your health being a priority. Don’t be afraid to speak up, it may just save your life. I’m so grateful I did and that I’m here today to celebrate this anniversary.

This is a lesson I will continue to carry forward and I hope you do too.

Please feel your b***s - this goes for everyone!

I celebrate milestones because they are a reminder that difficult times don’t last forever. If you focus on the light at the end of the tunnel and listen to the learnings throughout the journey, you’ll find that you come out stronger and with a newfound perspective that makes life better... and that is something worth celebrating. Today I celebrate 7 years from completing my breast cancer treatment. While the world is in a difficult place presently, it won’t last forever. Focus on the gifts of gratitude that you have today, which will carry you through. We will all celebrate on the other side of this. -

Own your story and tell your story. It’s not always easy to talk about the difficult things we face in life, but accepting and sharing is part of the healing process.

This is me during my breast cancer treatment. I have a wig from losing my hair. I gained weight from the steroids and chemo. I cried talking about finding my lump. I personally chose to document my journey not only for my own reflection, but also to help others. This is a behind-the-scenes clip.

To all the those who have been touched by cancer in some way, we celebrate you today on World Cancer Day. May you find your path to healing in whatever way suits you best.

Thank you for helping me tell my story. -, Freeboobin’ Founder

Caregivers. The ones who are most often overlooked during a cancer diagnosis, though undoubtedly the most important to the patient during their journey. Gratitude and loving hugs to all the caregivers out there - your support makes all the difference. Reach out to someone you know who’s taking care of a loved one, they need support too. 💕

Seven years ago today, I couldn’t sleep so I wrote in a journal about the news I was given earlier that day. Even now it still feels surreal.

We often take our health for granted until something bad happens. Take a minute today to stop and be thankful for yours. I’m feeling especially grateful as I reflect today. -
