Hi, I’m Dr. Sweta Bajaj
I recently received BabyChakra’s NATURAL FOAMING HANDWASH and here I am sharing my thoughts on it.
BabyChakra’s Natural Foaming Handwash is India's only first product Co-Created with Mothers & Doctors. Considering how important hand hygiene is in these present times, choosing a product that gives you protection from germs as well as it’s safe for you and your loved ones is important. The best part of this product is that it’s made with natural ingredients that do not allow the hands to dry out nor does it damage the skin. The use of plant-based surfactants and organic oils like mango oil, coconut oil, beetroot, and tulsi helps moisturize your hands along with germ protection. Since this product is Sulphate, Triclosan, BHT Free, repeated use throughout the day would not harm your skin. It’s one of my chosen products as it provides 99.9% Germ protection, is Certified Baby Safe, Dermatologically Tested, & FDA Approved.

Dear Expert

Hope all’s well at your end.

To introduce ourselves we are brand “Nutrizoe” India's first women nourishment company backed by VCs & Angels. We are working passionately towards creating and providing the women of today with tailor made Health and Wellness solutions.

One of the cause that we strongly support for women and especially new mothers is breastfeeding. As per available stats 55.6% of the new mothers are unable to breastfeed their babies effectively due to various factors. WHO has been consistently speaking about the benefits of the same .

Breastfeeding in open / public places has been looked down upon across the globe for centuries. It is still viewed as surprising & in an awkward manner with a stare as it’s something that is not decent. It is a matter of disappointment that we being a part of such a modern era fail to provide a comfort zone to the mothers to breastfeed their child.

Infact one of the recent incident, a woman was stopped from breastfeeding in Disneyland, Paris. events like this coming from developed nations show the severity and widespread of the issue of how and why breastfeeding in open and public spaces still a considered a taboo.
https://insidethemagic.net/2021/07/disneyland-paris-breastfeeding-incident-ad1/

We should acknowledge the emerging need to educate society as a whole as the child is not the sole responsibility of the mother. The way to break the taboo is to do the taboo thing.

We feel that as a women brand, it is partly our responsibility as well to create awareness campaign around such a beautiful gesture of a mother breastfeeding her child. In order to do so we are launching a brand agnostic campaign which is thought provoking, electrifying brand and breaking stereotypes.

We need your help in our endeavor as our aim is for everyone to be able to freely share this counter offensive campaign against taboos associated with breastfeeding.
Since it is a awareness campaign, there is no association with any brand or any kind of commercial element attached to it. Ms Neha Dhupia and her platform Freedom to feed would be also participating and kickstarting this along with some prominent doctors & Lactation experts .

We are producing a small 50-55 second video made by real mom stories which can be easily shared across Facebook and Instagram handles.

Hence with the above agenda, I would like to request you to help support our cause and let us know if you in your personal capacity or organizational capacity would be able to promote this campaign through your social media handles on the upcoming world breastfeeding week?

We sincerely hope that you would participate in this campaign so that together mothers across the globe can breastfeed their infants without any guilt or hesitation.

You can find more about us at: www.Nutrizoe.com

Look forward to hear from you

Regards,
Nisha Gaushhal

Solid Supplements
By 8 months most babies start teething. This is the right time to change him over to chopped and lumpy (thick) foods. Now the foods should be boiled & cut into small pieces before serving. Veggies like Potato & carrots could be boiled and cut into small pieces. Minced meat and fish could be boiled and served as such instead of mashing. Soft cooked rice or small pieces of chapaties may also be introduced at this stage.
As the infant is teething, it is beneficial to give more of crunchy foods like a hard biscuit or a piece of toast/rusk or a slice of raw carrot or a fruit without skin & seeds would be ideal to chew. These foods would aid in teething and provide exercise to the gums.

Semi-Solid Supplements
All babies are different and will start eating foods in a different order and rate that is right for them. Here are some tips to help you start introducing your baby to complementary foods:
*Choose a time when your baby is happy and you are calm. Make sure you have time to focus on your baby.
*Start with a single iron-rich pureed food like baby rice cereal or pureed meat.
*Offer 1 to 2 teaspoons of first foods after a breast or infant formula feed. Slowly increase this to 2 to 3 tablespoons.
*Start offering complementary foods once a day and slowly build up to 3 times a day. Offer more food as your baby grows.
*It is normal for babies to refuse new foods. Sometimes it can take 10 to 12 times of offering a food before a baby will accept it.
*Babies know when they have had enough and may turn their head away. Offer your baby food later instead of forcing them to keep eating.
*Add Germinated Wheat Flour in porridge to make it thin and swallowed.

**GERMINATED WHEAT FLOUR: Germinate the wheat grain by soaking and wrapping. Then, remove the sprout and make powder of remaining grains. Other cereals like bajra, jowar & maize may also used to make the powder. Store it in an air-tight jar use 1-2 gm of this powder in the porridge to make it thin and easily swallowed.

When & Why Complementary Food
The right time to start complementary food is 6 months. If we start too early babies can risk diarrhoea as their system is not able to digest, and if we start late babies risk malnutrition.
Hence complementary food should be given around 6 months along with breastfeeding.
For 6-8 months babies Semisolid Supplements which are well cooked & mashed foods 2–3 times a day initially and can increase 4-5 times.
For 8-12 months babies Solid Supplements that are chopped or lumpy, finger foods initially for 1-2 times with other things and gradually increase.
Supplementary food should be rich in iron & calcium.
