Our social media channels are governed by these Social Community Guidelines, in addition to the Terms of Service / User Agreements and legal notices of respective social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X, formerly known as Twitter). When engaging with Ionis’ social media channels, please adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Content Engagement: While you can engage with our content through actions such as ‘liking’ or ‘sharing’, please note that posting content, including comments, is not permitted on our social media channels.

2. Prohibited Content: Do not share comments containing:
a. Discussion of any products, prescribing information, or treatments. Inappropriate comments about our competitors. Incorrect, false, misleading, confidential, or non-public content. Communications that may embarrass, harass, offend others, are defamatory, or invade privacy. Sexually offensive material or comments, or content disparaging others based on race, sex, color, religion, age, sexual orientations, gender identity, or disability. Advertising or promotion of products or services. Solicitation of any product and/or service is strictly prohibited. Content that infringes on others’ copyright or trademark.

3. Moderation: We reserve the right to block any user who violates these guidelines.

4. Reporting Adverse Events: Do not report adverse events here. If you, or someone you know, are experiencing an adverse event, please report such events directly to Ionis Drug Safety within 24 hours of the event, or as soon as possible. Email drugsafety@ionisph.com or IonisSafety@ppdi.com. or call 1-800-491-2664.

5. Limitations of Online Communication: Due to industry regulations, there may be topics we cannot discuss online. In such cases, we will provide alternative means of communication.
