No air coming in.
No air going out.
It was like someone had removed my lungs.

Behind me: a wall of athletes swimming straight over the top of me, arms and legs thrashing, pushing me under, moving me aside.

Within 25 yards of the start, I was in the middle of a full-blown panic attack.

Not exactly the race I had pictured.

MEDAL MONDAY

This weekend at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Marbella, we witnessed two of our athletes race fully awake, fully embodied, and fully present.

Claire stepped onto that course with an unwavering mindset. Her run was one of her best yet — close to a PR — but the performance was only part of the story.
Her words after the finish say everything:

“I was fully in it. 120% unshakeable.”

That level of trust in oneself does not happen overnight. It is built through practice, presence, and choosing to meet the moment again and again. So much more is coming for Claire in 2026.

Kristen toed her first World Championship start line and found what many of us search for our whole athletic lives: peace inside the effort.
She met the ocean with calm.
She let the waves roll and moved with them, not against.
She finished with contentment — and that is a rare and powerful thing to experience at this level of racing.

This is the work we devote ourselves to:
Not just faster times —
but clearer minds, deeper trust, and joy in the doing.

If something in Claire and Kristen’s experience speaks to you — listen.
There are two paths to begin:

1:1 Coaching for athletes ready to go all in on their growth.

Endurance Squad for athletes who want structure, mindset training, and community support every single week.

Whichever path you choose:

We train the athlete, and the mind that guides them.

Awake and Ready. Always.

FRIDAY RACE WEEKEND

We’ve got two YogiTriathlete athletes lining up at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships this Saturday in Marbella, Spain.

Claire and Kristen have poured themselves into the work. They have shown up, stayed consistent, and trusted the process that brought them to this world stage.

Claire earned her spot at Oceanside earlier this year. Kristen punched her ticket at the final edition of St. George. Both races are demanding, honest, and served as the perfect foundation for the challenging and beautiful course awaiting them in Spain.

This course rewards strength, patience, courage, and a deep belief in oneself.

These two embody exactly that.

To Claire and Kristen — race awake, race present, and let your training speak for itself. You are ready.

Awake and Ready.

“I’ll do it tomorrow.”

We’ve all said it.
And sometimes we really believe it.

But tomorrow is just a thought.
And thoughts don’t train us.
They don’t strengthen our mind.
They don’t move our feet.
They don’t guide our breath when the nerves hit at the start line.

Only today does that.

The athletes inside Endurance Squad are practicing presence — not perfection.

They’re learning how to show up without needing the timing to be ideal…

without needing the motivation to be high…

without waiting to “feel ready.”

Because the work only happens now.
And the now is where confidence is built.
Where resilience is built.
Where belief is built.

If you’ve been telling yourself:
“I’ll join later.”
“I’ll get serious soon.”
“I’ll commit when life slows down.”

This is your gentle nudge.

Tomorrow is not today.
And today is the only place your future athlete actually forms.

Come train in the present moment with us.

Endurance Squad is open.

Protect the sacred snacks. 🥤🥔

Somewhere between mile 60 and enlightenment lies the convenience store stop — where Coke tastes like victory and Lay’s become a spiritual experience.

Train hard. Laugh harder.
That’s the YogiTriathlete way.

The Art of Racing: Act As If You Have Nothing to Lose

When you’re training for something big — to win, to finish, or to find yourself — the race is never just physical.

In this episode, BJ and Jess go deep into the mental and emotional landscape of training.

BJ shares the mindset he’s living as he goes all in for the age-group win at Ironman Arizona. Jess opens up about the story she’s never told — the moment she experience during her week of training at altitude in Colorado.

In this episode:
⚡️ Racing with nothing to lose
⚡️ The struggle as the path to ease
⚡️ What true surrender really means
⚡️ Letting your partner have their own process
⚡️ The real result of training the mind

This one’s raw, revealing, and full of fire.

Truth: You can’t out-train what’s happening in your mind.

What’s really holding you back?

You train hard. You show up. You check every box.

But something still feels off — the fear before the start line, the tightness when things get hard, the whisper of doubt that follows every “almost.”

What if your next breakthrough isn’t about doing more…but trusting more?

👉 Only 2 spots open for 1:1 Mindset Coaching with Jess.

Clear the mental noise.
Reconnect with your purpose.
Race — and live — from a place of trust.

Medal Monday | Team YogiTriathlete 🥇💫

What a weekend of heart, growth, and presence for this crew.

🔥 Patrick Testoni crossed the finish line at Ironman California, becoming a 2-time Ironman in less than a year — and he did it with a massive PR of nearly 3 hours!

Patrick raced with purpose and peace, embracing every step of the journey. From arriving early and staying calm through the chaos, to adapting with flexibility and leaning into support — he truly embodied the YogiTriathlete mindset.

When the heat hit hard on the run, Patrick didn’t panic. He tuned in, listened, and adapted — cooling his body, feeding his mind, and finding his rhythm once again. That’s the work of a mindful athlete: discovering how to manage both body and mind when dancing on the endurance edge.

And through it all, he stayed connected — lifting others, encouraging first-timers, and sharing in the beauty of the day. This is what racing awake looks like. 🌞

🌿 Blaine, from our Endurance Squad, capped her season with a 1st-place age group finish at her 10-mile trail race! A huge win — but even more powerful is her growth this season. She’s learned to trust herself, to silence self-doubt, and to rise stronger with every stride.

Two athletes, two powerful examples of what happens when you train the mind, honor the body, and stay open to possibility.

Race Week Vibes 🔥 | Ironman California

This weekend, Patrick Testoni steps up once again — this time at Ironman California — ready to become a two-time Ironman finisher.

After racing with Team YogiTriathlete last fall at Ironman Arizona, Patrick continues to embody what it means to do the work — every single day. Consistent. Focused. Awake and ready.

He’s trained the mind. He’s trained the body. And now he toes the line ready for an experience that only race day can bring.

Go get it, Patrick — we’re all with you out there. 💪🔥
