Good morning from Sioux Lookout - Onaman Ziibi lodge.
The men spoke about a plan, and made a plan to meet again. It takes a bit of time and consistency to build the mens alliance, but when you have a vision and focus on that, then it can happen.
We also look forward to the women's and community's encouragement for the men. Meegwetch!

It was a great men's dinner today in Sioux Lookout. Fresh Moose and fish is always goodelicious. A local guest speaker helped tell about the good things and people in his life amd how maintaining physical health is important to helping us be successful.
The next Men's dinner is December 14th here in Sioux and will be confirmed within a few days. It is the start to a New Men's Alliance. You can say that the Men's Fire has been lit and will need their space to become even stronger. Please continue to support this initiative for our men, our grandmothers have said that the men need their time and space too.

We are off to the great Sioux Lookout. Theodore Morrison and I get to sit in on a meeting on how a group of men can structure themeslves in a way to achieve success in all aspects of their lives, families and community.
They are building upon the IMA's Values for Success program. This is what is needed.

We will gladly travel to communitues to help our men.

I am so proud of the young men that showed up today to learn the Values of Success paradigm. They also got to listen to Gerald Chum speak about the rites of passage amd his strong messages for the youth to become powerful men. Our guest speaker Michael Corston gave a great presentation and shared his challenges and what got him through it all to be a strong husband and friend today. We get to have one more day tomorrow. Thanks again to all that are praying for us and these young men we are honoured to meet. Also our gratitude goes to the helpers, Lena, Kim, Jeanette, and the caterer Janet. And to Jennifer Valerie Carey-Cool for initiating this event.

We will be having another one the first week in December on the 3rd and 4th, contact Kim Keesic at Moose Cree Child and Family Well-being to inquire about the next event.

"Men's Empowerment"
The Moose Cree Child and Family Well-being program is providing a great opportunity. The IMA isnonoured to host men in the area to learn, grow and build themselves up to be even stronger men by taking part in "The Values of Success" two day sessions. Its on Wednesday and Thursday at 830 am and finishes at around 4 pm. It is at 300 Laforest Rd, in Timmins ON. We are looking forward to meeting the men in the area. Meegwetch to all that are and who continue to support our goal, your prayers and good energy sent is appreciated by all of us !!

Based on the teachings of our mother, we learn the TRUTH she will take care of us, we learn to RESPECT her which gives us WISDOM, we make wise choices based on our respect for the truth. We show our truth by being HONEST, we show our LOVE in our actions, we look back on our choices with HUMILITY, when we act and do things out of LOVE only good things should happen. It is our COURAGE that connects the foundation values of Truth, Respect, and Wisdom from our inner to the outer values of Honesty, Love and Humility.
