Really great products on this website. The candy bars have great ingredients. I’ve tried the Wonder Monday cheesecake, Phat crackers (original and cinnamon are the best) and the Max Mallow Marshmallows. All which are really great. I wouldn’t recommend trying the tortilla chips because they have vital wheat gluten and whole wheat flour.

Some of my favorite sweeteners for baking are allulose and monk fruit. I use stevia glycerite in my coffee—about 10 drops provides the sweetness of one teaspoon of sugar. What Are The Best Types Of Sugars Or Sweeteners?

The best sweeteners are those that have a lower glycemic index (GI). The GI measures how much a food can raise your blood sugar levels. Foods higher on the GI can cause quick spikes in blood sugar, increasing the risk of diabetes, heart disease, and stroke.

When it comes to low-carb sweeteners, the options can be overwhelming. I often get asked about honey and coconut sugar. While these are natural options, they still contain sugar. Honey has a glycemic index of 50, and coconut sugar has a GI of 35, compared to table sugar (sucrose), which has a GI of 65. This means they can raise blood sugar levels almost as quickly as regular sugar.
