On 3/18/15 our world was turned upside down when my 7 year old daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and spent 4 days in the ICU. In order to help manage this disease more effectively, we are fundraising to get a Diabetic Alert Dog which can smell low & high blood sugars before they become dangerous and maintaining better blood sugar numbers will also reduce the risk of serious long term complications like blindness & kidney failure.
