VISION:
An organization of medical students whose members are: academically performing well, socially aware, spiritually healthy, appropriately equipped with basic health skills and are willing to promote and offer accessible and affordable health services for the deprived and less fortunate members of the community. MISSION:
To provide affordable basic health services to urban and rural poor communities by conducting medical missions organized and manned by trained, knowledgeable and efficient medical students under the supervision of supportive health professionals. To conduct trainings and seminars for members on the following:
-Proper history taking
-Thorough physical examination
-Formulating a logical differential diagnosis
-Proper management of patients and their diseases
-Proper referral of patients to specialists and higher centers
-Pharmacology of basic drugs
-Aseptic technique
–Scrubbing, gowning, gloving, sterilization
-Suturing
-Circumcision
-Surgical excision
-Papanicolau smear
3. To conduct trainings and seminars for members of the community where the medical mission is
conducted
4. To conduct medical missions upon invitations of the rural and urban poor communities
5. To raise funds for the seminars, trainings and medical missions to be conducted by the
organization
6. To facilitate the clinical exposure of members in hospitals with available exposure programs.
