Wellness & Harm Reduction WARHP helps people of all walks to minimize trauma and maximize wellness at every opportunity.

The Wellness & Harm Reduction Program (WAHRP) is dedicated to helping people avoid health and legal problems before they occur while minimizing the impact and damage caused by bad decisions or circumstances. Self-help groups as well as state and federal agencies provide critical assistance at various levels once a person becomes sick, addicted or convicted of a crime. But they reflect only marginal success in minimizing harm, decreasing demand/abuse or increasing education for mainstream society to find realistic, long-term solutions. It is in that spirit that we respond to create the Wellness & Harm Reduction Program (WAHRP), dedicated to communicating directly and effectively with millions of people from all types of backgrounds. In short, we will provide people with practical tools, strategies and exercises that help keep them safe, happy and healthy.

WELLNESS TIP #38: Seems the older we get, the less reluctant we are to admit that our parents were right all along... about many things.

Because virtually every preventive measure proven to stem progression and transmission of CoVID-19 echoes what was drilled into most of our heads since we were toddlers:

- Keep your hands to yourself.

- Cover your mouth/nose and turn your head when you sneeze or cough.

- It's not polite to chew food with your mouth open.

- Wash your hands... often.

- Don't pick your nose or scabs.

- Only use clean cups, plates and silverware.

- Drink plenty of water.

- If you're running a fever... stay home.

Simply put, here is hope in these very important lessons we've already learned that have proven to minimize spreading viruses.

Stay well friends...

The day after I posted this is when we got Vic's diagnosis. The whole time he was sick, his mom was afraid I'd slip him an edible to alleviate his brain tumor. So I never got to spend more than a minute or two alone with him.

Vic could have legally benefitted from cannabis after SQ788 passed that June. By August, people were getting their cards and life saving medicine. Yet, Vic's mom waited two months before stepping up.

His card was in the mail when he passed at the end of October. So we'll never know what the outcome would have been if she had tried everything available.

MORAL: If you have cancer, epilepsy, seizures or some ailment that can be alleviated, cured or prevented by using cannabis... please don't wait. Just do it. Really...

Apparently, the fact that cannabis successfully destroys cancer cells is no longer a conspiracy theory in the U.S. Therefore, can we regard it as a preventative herb against cancer, or can anyone reject the idea of using medicinal ma*****na? According to Amy Willis, to the official cancer advice web...

Sorry for taking so long to update everyone. A lot has happened this past year that forever changed our lives, relationships and priorities. For those of you who stood with us and helped us weather the storms so far, you have my undying gratitude and loyalty. You know who you are... thanks.

For those who don't know, our brilliant and bold 11 yr old son was taken to be with his Grandma, Uncle Wayne and other dearly loved ones in Heaven. Vic's in a much better place now. No longer is he bombarded with harsh judgement and shame for being the curious lil boy he is.

Nor is he surrounded by rampant fear and random emotional outbursts. That, along with his brain tumor and treatment made his world a hostile and emotionally dangerous place. It was very difficult for him to overcome the challenges he faced. So he departed on October 29th, 2018.

If you or anyone you love is facing death or injury either physically, spiritually or emotionally, know that there are many places you can go to discuss them openly without reprisal or shame.

WAHRP is one of them and will never discount or ignore your struggle... ever. Stay tuned for more.

God bless and keep you all safe and healthy...

If your doctor recommends that you need to increase your fiber intake, do it! Even if you haven't been told to eat more fiber, 97% of should since only 3% of Americans get their RDA of the stuff. Besides helping to prevent strokes, heart attacks and other major problems that kill too many of us prematurely, a well balanced fiber diet also keeps you from being constipated. No big deal... just take a laxative... right? Wrong...

Sometimes your stool can get impacted, making number 2 more painful than you ever imagined. If it goes too long, a fissure will occur and make a really bad situation 10 times worse and potentially deadly. It's excruciating, chronic and will make you never forget to eat fiber ever again the rest of your life.

Read this article to learn which of your favorite foods are high in fiber... and eat them as often as you can without overdosing. It could very well, save your life or at least minimize your risk of enduring days and weeks of agony full of poo. Literally... ;o/

Fiber doesn’t just help you out in the bathroom, it also lowers the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension. You might be surprised that oatmeal barely made this list—check out what did.
