Dr. D Radio is an online radio show discussing topics related to the well-being of pregnancies, women, children and families. At Dr. D Radio, we are of the belief that regardless of our differences as adults such as religious beliefs, race, socioeconomic status, we all share one common end-goal: Our common desire for health, happiness and success for all children. As we all know, children are born by chance to their parents and it is then up to the parents/caregivers how that child is raised. Children at a minimum require HEALTH of the mind and body and therefore must be fed nutritious foods and given lots of love and support. They also need to learn to RESPECT ALL living creatures because after all, respect lays down the foundation behind any relationship, whether it is in a marriage, at the work place, with siblings, friends, etc. Without hope, children are less likely to commit to school, develop a strong work ethic, etc. The material presented on this website aims to be educational, real and progressive. At Dr. D Radio, we are also very cognizant of the role epigenetics plays on gene expression. The FACT that environmental influences play such an important role on the expression of genes brings us to the basics when addressing health and nutrition during pregnancy. Therefore, we will be addressing the importance of mental and physical health well-being.
