At the Oakland UBT Fair, teams came together to share tricks and treats for reaching goals, solving problems, and growing stronger together.

Attendees even got a spooky-good bonus — free flu shots to stay healthy and help us reach our PSP goal (deadline Dec. 31!)!

From tested ideas to sweet successes, we saw what is possible when we collaborate through our Unit-Based Teams — the heart of partnership and better patient care. 🩺❤️

And, a special shout-out to two brand-new Level 5 teams who attended — what an accomplishment! 🏆

🎉 The UBT Summit is on parade in the Mid-Atlantic! 🎉
Teams in the region got creative to overcome distance and staffing challenges—hosting their very own UBT Summit Parade!

The Summit kicked off with a virtual session with senior leaders, labor partners, and top-performing UBTs sharing best practices. Then, labor and management sponsors hit the road, visiting five centers in Northern Virginia to meet with entire teams, not just co-leads. They shared snacks, celebrated frontline successes, and distributed the Healthy UBT Guide.

Some top tips from the guide:
• Build consensus - don’t rely on voting!
• Use the Rapid Improvement Model to drive project success.
• Define team roles and processes clearly.
• Set SMART(IE) goals and sustain your work.
• Connect with sponsors and celebrate wins!

This energizing event kept teams connected, shared learning, and celebrated the spirit of partnership across the region.
