Larry and Harry, *two homeless men* were given a chance a to travel to a third world country on an all-expenses paid trip.

They were told to carry nothing and return with nothing...

They were to make sure they spend all that was given to them.
Provision had been made for their expenses and welfare which they would get upon arrival at their destination.

The only caveat was that neither of them knew when they would be asked to return home.

As they arrived, they were both given a huge 💰 sum of money and a credit 💳 card with no limits, but reminded to spend it all before returning to their home country.

At this, they became instantly wealthy 💰 by local standards.

*Harry* thought to himself. "Wow! This is my opportunity to live like a king for I don't know how long this would last".

So he went and rented a Ferrari and rented the best room in the best hotel in town.

He went to the best stylist, shaved and transformed his looks. He had parties everyday. Everyone in the city thought the cars and the wealth were his and they loved and respected him for it.

*But....*

At the back of his mind, Harry knew he would go back home someday and leave all of it behind but he didn't want to think about it.

Right now he was living in the moment and enjoying himself to the fullest...

*Larry,* on the other hand rented a small Honda to get him around town and stayed in a modest inn.

He thought to himself. "This money will not last and I don't know when I am going back so I have to do something tangible with it."

He decided to *use it to change some people's lives while there was still time.*

So he got busy, went out on the streets and started making a difference.

He didn't just give away money, rather *he tried to help people be self-sufficient.*
He paid off all the school fees of some promising young ones to enable them get an education and take care of themselves and their families.

He found some responsible adults and funded them in a business that guaranteed they would be able to take care of their family and create employment.

*He devised a means of helping some of the homeless people get off the street and getting them into a trade for he thought "I wish someone would do this for me when I get back".*
*_In short, while Larry was there, he was busy changing lives..._*

Then after just two months they were suddenly notified that it was time to go back.

They hadn't even finished spending all the money but still had to leave it all.

They both said their goodbyes and headed for the airport.

At the airport they were given their original clothes to put back on before boarding the plane back to their country...

Harry reminisced on the good times he had but wasn't too happy that he was going back to his old life.
How would he readjust to being homeless?

*Larry on the other hand felt good. He came with nothing and is leaving with nothing, but he at least helped others with a chance at life and that alone meant the world to him.*

Readjusting to being a homeless person wouldn't be a problem because he never lived like the wealth was his anyway and always had it at the back of his mind that he would leave it all someday.

But... Little did they know that each moment they spent on vacation was being secretly recorded and they would be rewarded accordingly.

*Now...*..
Now, which one do you think would be cast back out to the slums as a homeless person and which one would be entrusted with large sums of wealth and position of authority?

*The same goes with our lives here on earth.*

*We are sent here on a mission and will return empty handed except for the recordings of our dealings here on earth.*

Yet, many of us walk around thinking that the wealth we have is ours to keep forever.
We look at ourselves in the mirror and think that what we see will always be there, forgetting that we are wearing a temporary cloth, a human body, that would be required of us before we leave this world.

Our vacation on earth is but a short time while eternity is forever. How we spend this vacation determines how we get to spend eternity.

So.... HOW ARE YOU LIVING YOUR LIFE? ARE YOU LARRY OR HARRY ???

Prof.Agyeman Badu Akosa once a pathologist at the Korle Bu teaching hospital disclosed in the Daily Graphic that, most of the recent deaths occurring in the country could have been avoided if victims had taken good care of themselves. He said most of them are as a result of what we eat. He said, the government and businessmen spend huge sums of money in importing sickness into the country.They import cooking oil which contain fats that can never digest in the human digestive system.
Our human blood has over 75% of it being water, and we know from our basic science that, oil can never dissolve in water so when this oil gets into our blood stream, the particles are suspended.These suspended oil particles pile up to form a plaque which blocks the arteries preventing the inflow and outflow of blood to the heart. This defect results in many of the cardiovascular diseases we know today.
In the early 70s and in the 80s, the only oil found in an average Ghanaian home was palm oil and coconut oil. Cooking oils like frytol was used on occasions. But today, it is taken everyday in our homes yet we still can't identify what is killing us.
*An average Ghanaian eats fruit once in every two months which is very bad. Fruits are to be taken on daily basis.
*An average Ghanaian drinks water only when he is thirsty but we must drink water even when we are not thirsty throughout the day even if it is sipping water at regular intervals.
*An average Ghanaian do not exercise but eats everyday.
*An average Ghanaian take drugs to cure diseases which was acquired through a reckless lifestyle. Drugs cannot cure those diseases, only a change in lifestyle can cure those diseases.
We format our phones and computers when malwares like viruses invade them but do we think about what we take into our bodies? Most of them are more than viruses.

It is not just about drinking 8 glasses of water a day to stay healthy and hydrated. It matters in what position you have the water. Do you sit and drink water, or normally have it in passing, while standing?

Some experts have uncovered that it is no old wives tale when the elders in the family ask you to sit down and then gulp your water. In fact, it is a gem of an advise that you had better heed to for a healthy living. "To make the most of the water we drink it is advised to sit down and have it in small sips than glug it down in a rush while standing.

Here are some shocking scientific reasons that tell you the difference it makes to your body when you have your water standing as opposed to sitting down.

*1. Standing and drinking water can cause arthritis*

This may come as a greater shock to you if you have been in a practice of drinking water in a standing position, for you may well be affected by arthritis later in life. By drinking water standing you disrupt the balance of fluids in the body, and this often leads to a greater accumulation of fluids in the joints thus triggering arthritis.

*2. Water splashes on the stomach wall when had standing*

Health experts have it that by having water fast and in a standing position, you let it flow to your gut while splashing on the stomach wall. This shock from the splashing of water can cause long term damage to the digestive system as it harms the stomach wall and the gastrointestinal tract.

*3. You remain thirsty when you drink water standing*

Your thirst is never fully quenched when you drink water in a standing position. You feel like drinking more water very frequently. It is better to sit in a place and have smaller sips to truly quench your thirst.

Even Ayurveda mentions it that water must be consumed in slow, small swigs while sitting down. This helps to properly dilute the acid levels in the body by getting combined with the necessary proportion of water.

*7. Drinking water by standing causes ulcers and heartburn*

When you drink water in a standing position it ends up splashing the lower half of the esophagus very hard. This in return can disturb the sphincter, which is the joint between the stomach and esophagus, and as a result the esophagus experiences burning sensation because of the acids in the stomach flowing backward.

*8. Your nerves are tense when you drink water standing*

When you drink water standing, a ‘fight and flight system’ is activated which causes nerve tension in the body. *CAUSES OF KIDNEY DISEASES. BEWARE AND BEWARNED!*

HOW TO AVERT THE MENACE OF KIDNEY DISEASE:

*1. Stop delaying going to a toilet.*

Keeping your urine in your bladder for too long is a bad idea. A full bladder can cause bladder damage.

The urine that stays in the bladder multiplies bacteria quickly. Once the urine refluxes back to the urether and kidneys, toxic substances can result in kidney infections, then urinary tract infections, and nephritis, plus uremia.
When nature calls do it as soon as possible.

*2. Eating too much salt.*

You should eat not more than 5.8 grams of salt daily.

*3. Eating too much meat.*

Too much protein in your diet is harmful for your kidneys.

Protein digestion produces ammonia – a toxin that is very destructive to your kidneys. More meat equals more kidney damage.

*4. Drinking too much caffeine.*

Caffeine is a component of many sodas and soft drinks. It raises your blood pressure and your kidneys start suffering.
