Denby Sheather My intention for sharing my work and my unique spiritual gifts is simple: I am here to serve, educate, inspire and guide others on their healing journeys.

Denby is renowned for her insightful and natural affinity with teaching and a pioneering approach to yoga, health and healing. She is passionate about awakening individuals to their innate power and place within the nature-spirit-self matrix and dedicates each day to supporting others on their paths to living lives that are authentic, sustainable and full. Denby dedicates herself to continual wellness education, community service and soul evolution through her work and own life journey. She has mentored many yoga teachers and students over the years, helping them to anchor their individual gifts with strength and integrity. Her passion for conscious collaboration led Denby to initiate the Japanese Yoga Teachers Association in Sydney in 2007 and co-found the ocean conservation charity Living Ocean Yoga in 2013. As an eco advocate she serves to enlighten the yoga community about the importance of preserving and protecting Mother Ocean and Mother Earth, minimizing collective plastic pollution, eradicating animal cruelty and building across-board business sustainability. Her latest initiative is Yoga Spirit Journeys, a bespoke eco-luxe retreat series that seeks to connect people with country through the practices of yoga, meditation, charity and full moon and indigenous ceremony. Denby has diplomas in Japanese (Ki) Yoga and Hatha Yoga, Swedish Massage, Kinergetics, Bowen Therapy and Energetic Healing. She has trained in Mind-Body Counselling, Theta Healing, Animal Husbandry and Healing, Shamanic Earth-Centered Practices, Soul Retrieval Healing, Crystal Alchemy, Ceremonial Work and Meditation. As well as teaching several yoga classes each week, Denby is also available for private in person appointments and Skype sessions (half hour or 1 hour blocks) during the weekdays. Please get in touch with any questions you have as I am more than happy to talk about what you need and how I can help you. Blessings,

Hello (new and familiar) beautiful women to my page! Thank you for visiting. I hope I can be of service.

In this current moment, I'd like to invite you to stop what you're doing and take 3 slow, deep breaths with me.

To pause and tune into your heart.

Wherever you are right now in your midlife journey—whether struggling with the in-between-ness of what’s ending, and/or uncertain of what’s trying to begin—I want you to know that you are not alone. I'm on the other side of menopause now and can assure you things can and do, get better. My own journey has taught me so much, and now I want to share what I learned so you too, can navigate this time with grace and ease.

If you hadn’t noticed, menopause is trending.

There are any number of “get-well-get-fit-quick” programs, many offered by doctors, yet none of them speak to the real causes behind menopause imbalance. They’re about managing, conquering, and surviving menopause—and they certainly never mention the word initiation.

Contrary to popular (medical) belief, menopause is not a problem to fix—it’s an ancient passage to be honored. Yet sadly, for so many women this sacred threshold becomes a time of confusion, exhaustion, and emotional unraveling. Of falling apart, in more ways than one, and not because something is wrong with us—because no one ever taught us how to walk this path consciously.

Here’s something you need to know. Beneath the hormonal shifts and physical changes lies something deeper: the call to heal the unresolved wounds we’ve carried since girlhood—the memories, emotions, and beliefs that have shaped how we trust, love, and care for ourselves. The body remembers what the mind forgets. Every heartbreak, every silenced truth, every moment we abandoned ourselves lives in our cells, quietly influencing how we move through perimenopause and beyond.

In Mana Yoga Medicine, we don’t skip past that truth.
We begin there.

We dive into all the layers of your being until we discover what that core wound is and acknowledge the ways it has manifested throughout your life.

Then we heal it.

This is not another “midlife reset” or hormone-balancing course. Far from it. It’s a 7-week shamanic container facilitated with loving kindness, seasonal wisdom, and unwavering commitment. One that guides you through the deepest layers of your being—from cellular memory to soul remembrance and intuition—so you can meet menopause as the awakening it was always meant to be.

I see too many teachings rushing women into advanced practices or overloading them with protocols before their body is ready to receive. And without preparing the foundation—without clearing the energetic debris of trauma, grief, and suppressed feminine power, first—no number of supplements or spiritual insight will hold. Your system simply can’t integrate what it hasn’t made space for.

With Mana Yoga Medicine, I do things differently.

We begin with grounding, purification, and reconnecting to your primal intelligence—your blood, your bones, your womb. Resolving. Fortifying. Activating. Then we work gently and precisely with the energetic architecture of your being, allowing your body to remember how to regulate, restore, and rise. You receive the potent rites you missed when younger, initiations that impact your biology, psychology, and most profoundly, your energetic blueprint. Slowly, week by week, everything starts to make sense, from the foods you choose, the symptoms you experience, the relationships you have (or have had), to how comfortable and present you feel in your body, as your true self.

Because before you can fully embody your next chapter, the woman you once were must be seen, healed, and recalibrated.

These are the rituals you were never taught or honored with.
The sacred education your mother didn’t receive. And therefore, couldn't pass on.

This is the path back to your own feminine medicine.

I'm opening up 6 spaces for the next Mana Yoga Medicine container—and you are invited. This is a deliberately small circle, curated for women who are ready to transform pain into power, confusion into clarity, and midlife into mastery. Keeping it intimate also ensures you get the personal attention you deserve.

Each week you'll receive: 1:1 shamanic healing rite; group Q&A zoom call; module-specific workbook with supporting remedial yoga sequences and blogs; plus, my bespoke gift pack containing handcrafted herbs, bathing salts, anointing oil, tea infusions, and a sleep sachet. "Loved the gift pack. The yoni steams were life-changing!" CT

You’re not going to be the same after this work. I promise.

Here's what some recent students have to say:

“Mana Yoga Medicine is proving to be everything I hoped it would be, and more. It’s a gift that you not only deserve, but owe to yourself and your loved ones to embrace. Coming face to face with yourself and doing “the work” can be confronting at times, but Denby is such an expert, kind, and ingenious guide, you can’t help but rise.”

“By giving yourself the time within this container, and with the nourishment (teas, tinctures, recipes, smudges), skills and techniques Denby provides, you are encouraged to gently parent your struggling, perhaps unloved and rebellious inner child to integrate and embody all the teachings for true resolution and lasting benefit. Denby really wants you to have success. To find release from old, sometimes forgotten wounds, thereby making space and paving the way for new growth. She is a powerhouse, always giving, always inspiring us.”

“This work has helped me shift timelines, essentially moving from caregiver to self-lover. I’ve subconsciously and now deliberately moved from Mother to Mage, feeling more myself than I have for many, many years.Everything about this course is incredible. Exactly what I needed."

So, if you feel the pull my friend, trust it.
Your body already knows this is the offering it’s been waiting for.

Book a free call on the number below or reply to this email to see if this round of Mana Yoga Medicine is right for you. We begin the week of November 10th.

I look forward to connecting with you soon.

With love,
Denby

Welcome dear women.

If you've found me, you have most likely seen some of my menopause posts, or heard about my work 'through the grapevine.' However you arrived, it's nice to connect!

First up, I have a couple of questions for you.

Do you ever wonder why menopause feels like more than just hormones? Why you're suddenly flooded with memories, patterns, and emotions you thought you'd resolved years ago? Why you feel both invisible and like you're finally seeing yourself clearly for the first time?

What's rising to the surface is the Mother Wound—a cultural, ancestral, and spiritual wound that has lived in the feminine lineage for centuries. It's the pain of self-abandonment, the belief that your worth comes from caring for others, the fear that expressing your truth will cost you love. And menopause is activating it, not to punish you, but to finally set you free.

You might recognize yourself here: the self-sacrificing good girl, the over-achieving strong one who takes care of everyone except herself, the helper who can't receive, the woman who's lived her entire life by someone else's rules. These aren't personality flaws—they're survival strategies passed down through your maternal line. And they're asking to be released now.

When I identified my own Mother Wound, I had a choice: perpetuate the lineage or break the maternal curse of addiction, abandonment, and lack. I chose healing. I chose to become the woman my ancestors never had the chance to be. And that choice changed everything.

If you're ready to stop seeking permission, stop abandoning yourself, and step into your power with grounded grace—if you're ready for the transformation from Mother to Mage—I would be honored to speak with you.

You're invited to book a FREE call and let's explore how online container 'Mana Yoga Medicine' can support your sacred midlife journey.

Shoot me an email on denby@denbysheather.com, or message me here on Facebook, and we'll set up a time.

I look forward to connecting with you personally soon.

Blessings,
Denby

Will post this blog on my Substack as well, but felt it might be welcome support here also. Because basically, everything any of us are experiencing right now in this realm, boils down to how we view, approach, and engage with, death.

"We Cannot Die, Because We Were Never Born"

The greatest illusion of this human experience is that we begin and end. That we arrive through birth and leave through death. This lie is so deeply embedded in the collective psyche that it governs how we live, how we fear, and how we cling to the familiar.

The truth is simpler, and far more liberating: we cannot die, because we were never born.

We are eternal. We are consciousness itself, wearing temporary skins, playing temporary roles. The body is born and dies, yes, but the essence that animates it never began and will never end.

And yet, we find ourselves here—on what many call a prison planet. A place designed with systems of control, cycles of reincarnation, loops of fear and trauma. But to recognize this does not make us powerless. The locks on the cage are made of illusion, and illusion can be dissolved. Our sovereignty is the master key.

But here’s the catch: it all begins with resolving our fear of death. Our fear of endings. Our fear of change. Which is so ironic because everything about this realm is founded and reliant upon change.

As a collective, mankind has stubbornly clung to permanence, to stability, to predictability, for EONS. And because of this, we keep handing our power away to those who promise safety, continuity, and certainty—whether they sit in government offices, pulpits, or spiritual institutions, it doesn’t matter. Location is merely semantics.

Mainstream narratives feed this fear: wars, plagues, economic collapse, and one of the biggest psyops, climate catastrophe. The drumbeat of “death is near” keeps us agitated, obedient, and far from our inner knowing. When we fear death, we fear life.

And when we fear life, we forget that we are sovereign beings, free to choose differently.

Take the infamous Bhagavad Gita text for example. This is often cited as a spiritual antidote to fear of death. In it, on the literal battlefield, swords drawn, Krishna (the godhead) tells Arjuna (the warrior) that he must fight his own family, who have become his enemies. That he has no choice: or they shall kill him.

“Do not grieve,” Krishna says, “for the soul cannot be slain.” On the surface, this reads like a noble teaching—death is not real, the soul is eternal. But if we look closer, we must ask: why is divine love directing a man to kill his kin, to restore order? Why does the universal law of love require war?

Well, perhaps it doesn’t. Perhaps this Sanskrit text, like so many ancient scriptures, across many different traditions, carries distortions. We must remember that just because something is old, revered, or quoted endlessly, does not make it aligned with truth. As unquestionable “gospel.” As consciousness expands and evolves, so must everything else with it. Yoga and Bibles included.

The idea that violence can restore love is possibly one of the greatest inversions ever seeded into human consciousness.

We still see its echoes today—governments waging war “for peace,” institutions justifying harm “for the greater good,” families fractured in the name of “tough love.” But none of this is love. It is control dressed up as care. It is domination disguised as devotion, because true love does not require violence to defend it.

This is not to be confused with the fire that rises when we stand to protect what we cherish—our loved ones, our truth, our sovereignty, justice itself. That fire is not violence; it is the sacred power of life defending itself against destruction. It is the force that rises to triumph over violence, not to perpetuate it. There is a difference between love expressing itself through fierce protection, and love being twisted into a justification for harm.

Sacred rage shifts and elevates timelines. Random, rampant violence, distorts and regresses them.

So where does that leave us? It leaves us with the choice to see endings not as deaths, but as transformations. To see change not as annihilation, but as expansion. To embrace death not as a punishment, but as a threshold into the infinite Self that was never born and can never die.

When we dissolve the fear of dying, we dissolve the fear of living. And a LOT of people have stopped living in recent years, falling victim to incessant fear-mongering and promises they will die from "covid." Now, sadly, they ARE dying: from the shots.

When we resolve our fear of death, we stop clinging to systems that promise safety. We stop obeying narratives that agitate our nervous systems. We recognize the difference between those speaking truth, and those paying lip service. And we step into the still point of sovereign truth: we are eternal, and our freedom lies in remembering it.

You may remember I wrote a book about it recently ("Dying to Live"). You might want to check it out. I unpack death in its myriad forms, not just the obvious physical one, covering tender topics like su***de, stillbirth, menopause, ego death, transhuMANi$m, and lots more. It's worth the read.

The prison planet only works if we believe in death, in loss, in our finality. Once we know ourselves as eternal, no system can hold us.

So yes, your body will fall away one day. Your roles will end. Your stories will soften. And where menopause is concerned, your physical reproductive days lay behind you. But you—the vast consciousness looking through your eyes right now—were never born.

And therefore, you cannot die.

This is the knowing that collapses fear. This is the knowing that restores sovereignty. This is the knowing that liberates us all.

And this is the message I have been speaking for over six years, since that pandemic circus came to town. That once we embody our full, sacred self, no-one and no-thing can harm us. No external authority has jurisdiction over our body, mind, or soul, when we claim our birth-rights, and our birth-light.

So. Aim to make change, death, your ally today. Because it’s never too late to become.

AHO's and love
💜

We heard this a lot: “Know who you are”. But most people have no idea what that means, let alone how to discover their true self. So, how do you know who you are and what your “purpose” is? By knowing where you came from. By taking repetitive deep dives into your ancestral lineage AND our collective galactic lineage. When you know your origin - your home - you will start remembering what you forgot when you came to this realm. I’ll be sharing more on this topic in the coming weeks, including a webinar on Death and how to navigate it. Why Death? Because it is the most misunderstood and the most powerful rite of passage we can experience as humans. And it is also the key to our being able to live and love fully; and thus, know who and what we really are. For a heads up you can grab my latest book “Dying to Live” here:

My journey

I acknowledge the traditional elders and custodians of the Guringai and Darkinjung tribes, upon whose land I live, work and heal.

Denby is renowned for her insightful and natural affinity with teaching and a pioneering approach to yoga, health and energy work. She is passionate about awakening individuals to their innate power and place within the nature-spirit-self matrix and dedicates each day to supporting others on their paths to living lives that are authentic, sustainable and full. For over two decades Denby has dedicated herself to continual wellness education, community service and soul evolution through her work and own life journey. She has mentored many yoga teachers and students over the years, helping them to anchor their individual gifts with strength and integrity, and inspiring global projects and businesses along the way. Her passion for conscious collaboration led her to initiate the Japanese Yoga Teachers Association in Sydney in 2007, unifying the seasonally-based practices of Oki-Do, Ryoho and Ki Yoga for the first time; and co-found the ocean conservation charity Living Ocean Yoga in 2013 which has raised funds to support the work of Sea Shepherd Australia and Living Ocean. As an “ecolutionary” being, she serves to enlighten the yoga community about the importance of preserving and protecting Mother Ocean and Mother Earth, minimizing collective plastic pollution, eradicating animal cruelty and building across-board business sustainability and accountability. Her latest initiative is Yoga Spirit Journeys, was created after her own powerful initiation at Uluru in 2015 with the elders. This bespoke eco-luxe retreat series seeks to connect people with country through the practices of yoga, meditation, charity and full moon and indigenous ceremony. The Uluru “Desert Dreaming” retreat is the only one of its kind and endorsed by NT Tourism and Voyages Ayers Rock Resort. The Ningaloo Reef “Salted Souls” retreat in WA is supported by internationally acclaimed Sal Salis luxury lodge and WA Tourism.

Two other exclusive venues complete the ‘Ocean and Earth’ series: Va’vau in Tonga (August 31st - September 8th, 2020), swimming with the whales, plus Kenya and South Africa (August dates TBC), communing with the elephants and lions during the annual Lions Gate Portal activation. She will also lead a shamanic vision quest in Patagonia for the total solar eclipse of December 2020 and a ‘spiritual roadtrip’ through The Kimberley, Katherine and Kakadu (dates TBC). PLEASE NOTE: THESE RETREATS ARE ON HOLD DUE TO THE CURRENT GLOBAL SITUATION. Denby has diplomas in Japanese (Ki) Yoga and Hatha Yoga, Swedish Massage, Kinergetics, Bowen Therapy and Energetic Healing. She has trained in Mind-Body Counseling; Theta Healing; Animal Husbandry and Healing; Medical Intuition; Shamanic Earth-Centered Practices; Soul Retrieval Healing; Crystal Alchemy; Ceremonial Work and Meditation.

She is a gifted and respected intuitive channel, able to communicate with animals and light beings from various realms. What Denby brings forth from multiple dimensions, will serve to awaken and expand your soul’s purpose and fullest energetic activation.
