Lady Warrior Lady Warrior Workouts To Look Fit and Live Fit. Warriors Wanted

I don’t get to quit… I’m raising a girl who won’t either.

Let’s be real—
there are days I don’t feel like doing this.

I’m tired.
I’m sore.
Life is life-ing.

But quitting?
That’s not an option.

Because she’s watching me decide—
every single day—
if I’m the woman who folds…
or the woman who fights.

And I refuse to raise a girl
who grows up thinking it’s normal
to give up on herself.

So yeah…
I train when it’s hard.
I show up when I don’t feel like it.
I do the work most people talk themselves out of.

Not just for me—
but for her standard.

Because one day, when life punches her in the face…
she won’t panic.

She’ll remember—

“My mom didn’t quit… so neither do I.”

💥 Moms—this is your wake-up call:
You’re not just raising kids.
You’re raising what they believe they’re capable of.

Act accordingly.

If there’s one thing midlife women are not being told enough… it’s this:

Strength training isn’t just about your body—
it’s about your brain.

Here’s the truth:
As we move through perimenopause and beyond, estrogen declines… and that directly impacts brain health, memory, and cognitive function. That “brain fog”? It’s not in your head—it’s happening to your brain.

But here’s the empowering part 👇

Strength training has been shown to:
• Increase blood flow to the brain
• Support the growth of new brain cells (yes, even now)
• Improve memory and executive function
• Reduce inflammation linked to cognitive decline
• Help protect against diseases like Alzheimer’s disease

And it doesn’t require perfection.
It requires consistency.

Every time you lift…
you’re not just building muscle—
you’re building a more resilient, protected brain.

This isn’t about chasing skinny.
This is about protecting your future self.

Because one day, it won’t matter how small you were…
it will matter how strong, sharp, and independent you stayed.

Lift for your body.
Train for your brain.
Show up for the woman you’re becoming. 💜

Let’s be honest for a second…

We’ve been conditioned to believe that
lean = strong
and
soft = unhealthy

But that’s not always the truth.

Hippos don’t look “lean”…
yet their bodies are built with incredible amounts of dense muscle.

👉 Strength doesn’t always look the way you think it should.

And in midlife?
This matters more than ever.

Because your body is changing…
and chasing “skinny” will leave you:
– under-fueled
– under-muscled
– and frustrated

But building muscle?

That’s what gives you:
✔️ a faster metabolism
✔️ stronger bones
✔️ better hormones
✔️ confidence that doesn’t depend on a number on the scale

So if you feel “softer” right now…
but you’re showing up, lifting, getting stronger?

You’re not going backwards.
You’re building something most women never do.

Strength. Longevity. Power.

And no… it might not always look “toned.”

And NO I’m not saying women look like hippos. What I am saying is strive for strong over skinny.

“Explaining HYROX to my non-HYROX friends…”

It’s like…
running when you’re already tired,
lifting when your legs are shaking,
and questioning your life choices…
but choosing to keep going anyway.

Because it’s not just a workout.
It’s proof.

Proof that you can do hard things.
Proof that your body is capable of more than you think.
Proof that “I’m tired” doesn’t mean “I’m done.”

And here’s the part most people don’t get…

This isn’t punishment.
This is power.

Midlife women aren’t breaking down—
we’re building something most people will never have:

strength under pressure.

So no… I can’t really explain HYROX.

But I can show you what it creates.

And once you feel that…
you’ll never want to go back.
