The Peninsula Maternity Trust - PMT

PMT is a Private Benefit Organisation. We are the fundraising entity for Mowbray Maternity Hospital and its associated Midwife Obstetric Units.

Since founded, the Trust has successfully mobilised resources to start replacing important equipment and improve facilities at Mowbray Maternity Hospital. Over the next five years, the Trust will implement the Centenary Campaign by fundraising for various projects identified by the Hospital which focus on refurbishment and improvement of certain areas within the facility and upgrading of equipment. The aim is to have successfully achieved these project targets by 2016 when Mowbray Maternity Hospital celebrates its centenary year.98% of the patients of the Hospital - and therefore the beneficiaries of funding - live in disadvantaged communities around Cape Town. Donations therefore qualify companies for BB-EEE points. In addition, the Peninsula Maternity Trust is fundraising for its own operational expenses to ensure sustainability beyond 2016. The Peninsula Maternity Trust is proud to fundraise on behalf of Mowbray Maternity Hospital.
