NeuroKids SA is proud to introduce a skills-based training center for autistic adults, under the NeuroKids Inclusive Project NPO.

We are focused on real-time job skills and meaningful job placement opportunities.

👷‍♂️ In partnership with industry professionals, participants will be trained in:
• Painting
• Plastering
• Building

Understanding your child’s attachment style can help you respond with more empathy, patience, and confidence 💛

Every child connects, expresses emotions, and seeks comfort in their own unique way. Whether a child feels secure, anxious, avoidant, or overwhelmed, their behaviour is a form of communication—not something to “fix,” but something to understand.

When we create safe, predictable, and nurturing environments, children feel more secure, build trust, and develop stronger emotional regulation. Small, consistent actions—like being present, responding calmly, and offering reassurance—can make a big difference in how a child experiences the world.

Early intervention can make a life-changing difference for children with developmental delays or neurodiverse needs. The early years are when the brain is most adaptable, meaning children can learn new skills more easily and build strong foundations for communication, behaviour, and learning.
With the right support early on, children are better able to develop social skills, regulate their emotions, and participate more confidently at school and in everyday activities. It also empowers parents and caregivers with the tools and understanding they need to support their child’s unique journey.
The earlier the support, the greater the impact 💙

Sensory techniques can make a powerful difference in the daily lives of neurodiverse children. By supporting how their bodies process sensory input, these activities help reduce anxiety, improve focus, and promote emotional regulation.

Simple strategies like deep pressure, movement, or oral input can calm an overwhelmed child or help energise one who is under-stimulated.

When used consistently, sensory input builds body awareness, supports better behaviour, and enhances participation in learning and play. Most importantly, it helps children feel more in control, comfortable, and confident in their environment 💙
