What a gem of a place!
Fynbos Enterprises in Pringle Bay has the friendliest people and most delicious gelato you'll find on this side of the Bay.
And the chocolate gelato is vegan! What a win.

Don't get me started on the gorgeous colours and surroundings. Worth the drive!

It’s a lazy weeknight jam for me.
Lazy doesn’t have to mean boring or tasteless, we’ve got so many textures here, a bit of tang, creaminess, crunch, crisp, bitter, salty, herby and all.
The Bear loves these schnitzel-ish goodies from WOOLWORTHS and I’ll admit, they do the job 😋

Bought apples in bulk and couldn’t get through them fast enough. Waste not want not, they say. And so, mini apple pies, or apple turnovers. Your choice 🍏
So easy to make and so delicious with a cuppa on these proper autumn days.
For me, nothing says autumn like the smell of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and baked goods🥧

This change in weather calls for something immune boosting.
So thankful we had a few tubs of soup in the freezer. So easy, so yum and oh so good for you 🥕

Was in the mood to upgrade my ago on toast but was low on time.
Sliced and marinaded a for sheets of thin tofu, flash around the pan, mix with some vegan mayo and nori seaweed and yumm!
Doesn't look nearly as good as it tastes, and don't even start on the nutrients loaded here: good fat, protein, omegas, the works!

These were ‘off cuts’ from the croissants I ordered from pastry chef extraordinaire, Sam, of DoughMain in Tableview.
Best vegan croissants and best croissants, I might add, this side of the equator. Look them up, call, order, enjoy!
