Meet Dr Helen Aldrich (BVSc) — the newest veterinarian to join the VetX Clinic team.

Dr Helen is a 2022 graduate from the University of Pretoria, she brings a genuine passion for gentle, personalised care and loves building trusting relationships with both our patients and their people. 🐾

She has a special interest in internal medicine and is currently completing her Master’s degree in canine oncology. After her community service year in Hoedspruit, she relocated to Cape Town and quickly declared herself “Noordhoeked”, having found home in the Deep South.

Outside the clinic, Dr Helen enjoys hiking, long runs, and spending time in her garden alongside her two cats, Winter and Squishmallow.

Sweet Hamilton the pig 🐽 came to for his castration this month — and what a little champion he was! 💪💚
Our incredible team went above and beyond — fetching him from home, caring for him through sedation, his procedure, and returning him home safely afterwards. 🌿
We just couldn’t get over that adorable black-spotted belly… too cute for words! 🖤🤍

Hello Harry! 🐶💚
He came back to for his vaccinations today — and this time, no sleepy vibes! He was full of personality and cuteness, and we absolutely loved having him visit. Everyone got in a cuddle or two! 🥰✨
