Reflexology Practices are in Somerset West, Cape Town & Modderfontein, and Johannesburg. Invest in yourself—let's work towards your health goals together.
Reflexology is a powerful tool for enhancing health and achieving optimal wellness. Reflexology is the stimulation of reflex points in the feet that correspond to the parts of the body and organs in the body. It is beneficial to everyone. It is a non-invasive, non-harmful therapy that helps the body balance itself. This facilitates the overall healing process.

New on the blog.
Over the past few years, the landscape of healthcare has been shifting even further toward an integrative approach. But how exactly does therapeutic reflexology fit into the healthcare system? Is it purely just a relaxation technique, or can it facilitate the healing process in a more impactful way?
Why maintenance Reflexology treatments are important:
By keeping your regular reflexology appointments, you aren't just reacting to stress & illness; you're staying ahead of it.
Regular sessions help:
✨ Regulate hormones, immune system, & energy
✨ Improve sleep & circulation
✨ Calm the nervous system

2025 was a year of significant changes and growth, both in my practice and in my personal life.
In July, I moved to Cape Town. Marina joined the practice and took over the Rosebank and Modderfontein clients. Unfortunately, I had to close my Springs practice.
In August, we moved to Somerset West, and I opened my practice there.
On a personal front, I got married, competed in a pole sport competition (which was way out of my comfort zone) and moved to a new province. 3 significant changes - yet somehow it felt right to do them all in one year.
Starting a practice from scratch, again, has been refreshing and has even heightened my passion for reflexology. I have been forced to build connections and network again, which has been exciting. And working with Marina was wonderful, knowing that I could leave my JHB patients literally in good hands.
Thank you for trusting us with your well-being, for sharing your stories, and for celebrating these milestones with me.
I am beyond grateful!
Your support made 2025 a success! I am so excited for the healing we will continue to achieve together in 2026. I cannot wait to see you in the new year, a fresh start and a beautiful year ahead!

You don't need to finish the year perfectly tied up, or even exceptionally strong. You just need to finish knowing you grew, you tried, and you kept going.
We often feel pressure to have reached some turning point at the end of the year, but is that really the point? We're never really "finished" with anything. You don't have to have "finished" for it to be a successful year.
Take a moment to acknowledge how far you've come.
Give yourself permission to exhale this week. You've done enough 🤍🌻

Therapeutic Reflexology counteracts the effects of stress by :
*Promoting Relaxation: The pressure and manipulation of reflex points can induce deep relaxation, helping to calm the mind and body.
*Reducing Muscle Tension: Stress often manifests as physical tension. Reflexology can help release these tensions, promoting overall relaxation.
*Improving Circulation: Stimulating reflex points can increase blood flow, helping reduce stress-related symptoms such as headaches and fatigue.
*Mindfulness: The undistracted, focused attention required for reflexology can help you become more present and mindful, reducing stress and anxiety.
Incorporating Reflexology into Your Stress Management Routine:
- Regular Sessions: Consider scheduling regular reflexology sessions to reduce stress.
- Self-care / homework: Reflexology alone is not enough. Lifestyle changes such as diet, exercise, and mental shifts are often required for optimal results.
Life happens; no one is immune to it. That’s why reflexology is such a great therapy for rebalancing and getting back on track.

Therapeutic Reflexology, in essence, helps the body to heal itself.
It is great tool to get things moving in the body (to help with constipation, recovery after illness or operations); for homeostasis or balance in the body (hormonal and nervous system related conditions) and encouraging deep relaxation to counteract the effects of stress and helps you feel rejuvenated.

Reflexology is a non-invasive, yet very effective treatment to include as part of your 'wellness maintenance'.
But how often do you need a treatment?
This is something that people often ask me, and the answer really is, it depends.
Your reflexologist will advise you on how often you need reflexology treatments and for how long. But a general answer is:
• More frequently (i.e once a week) when you have a specific issue that needs to be addressed. What I have found most effective is weekly sessions for 4-6 weeks, then reassess.
• Maintenance treatments (i.e. once a month / every 6 weeks) when seeking treatment for balance, energy restoration, or stress relief without specific issues to address. However, some patients choose to have their maintenance treatments on a weekly basis.
• Weekly sessions continued for 4-6 weeks, with monthly follow-ups thereafter seems to work the best. This method is particularly beneficial for managing chronic conditions, reducing stress, and enhancing overall well-being. The weekly sessions offer a valuable ‘kick-start’ to your wellness journey.

Reflexology interrupts the patterns of physical, mental and emotional stress...
1. By shifting the nervous system: Allowing the body to calm down, repair itself, and restore balance.
2. By releasing tension from the body: Physical manipulation sends calming signals through the nervous system.
3. By stimulating the release of 'feel-good' hormones like endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin, which reduce the levels of stress hormones like cortisol in the body.
4. The deep relaxation induced by reflexology is, in itself, a powerful way to counteract the effects of stress. Creating the ideal environment for the body to manage stress.

Can Reflexology Help with Nerve Damage?
Reflexology has been shown to reduce neuropathic pain and neuropathy.
Therapeutic reflexology is a non-invasive therapy that can support overall well-being by applying specific pressure to the feet (hand, face or ears).
Significantly improving quality of life for those suffering from nerve-related conditions.

Reflexology is a holistic therapy that promotes health and well being. It stimulates the body’s self-healing mechanisms and eliminates toxins. Specific reflex points on the feet (hands and ears) correspond to different organs and parts of the body. Stimulation of these points increases blood flow, oxygen & nutrients, to the corresponding organ or body parts.
I qualified as a Therapeutic Reflexologist at the end of 2014, and have been practising ever since. I decided to study reflexology after I realised that reflexology wasn’t just a fascinating therapy, but also a very effective one.
I started off with my private practice in Springs. In 2017 I started working at corporate companies around Johannesburg. I also offer mobile reflexology services within a 30km radius of Germiston.
I have a huge passion for helping people achieve optimal health and wellness through reflexology and lifestyle.
It’s what you do consistently that makes the difference: “It is what you do everyday that makes the difference. Rather than spending a day eating healthy; eat something healthy everyday. Do a little bit of exercise each day instead of an intense workout once a week(or do both). Take time doing what you enjoy everyday, instead of 'when you have the time' (you have to make time). This helps you find balance in life and helps to build healthy habits". Jasmine Steyn
