Taking Things at Face Value ๐ฟ
Weโve become so used to overthinking, analysing, and interpreting people and situations that we often forget how to simply accept things as they are.
If someone seems uninterested, if something feels untrue, or if an action doesnโt align with words โ accept it. Itโs not your job to fill in the blanks. If things are different from how they appear, itโs the other personโs responsibility to clarify or for the truth to reveal itself naturally. People will explain themselves or apologise if they want to, situations will unfold.
If someone hands you a glass of water, you donโt question whether it really is water โ you take it for what it is. To later take a sip, then you know.
Accept things as they appear, and allow them to show you their truth over time.
It is not your responsibility to excuse, fix, or analyse anything but yourself.
It is about knowing, trying, and understanding what you can, and letting go control of the external.
Let the world and others be and show you, so you can just be, yourself. ๐
