The Ethos of Embodiment Rope Space:

This is a sex-positive, kink-positive, pleasure-centric space. Friends of LGBTQIA+ people are welcome. We believe that rope is for every body. We challenge our pre-conceptions in this space. Community is essential for safety. We learn more when we learn together. Open hearts and open minds are welcome here. Treat others as you wish to be treated. We share this space out of joy and the pursuit of pleasure. Consent can be revoked at any time. We practice RACK. We share information and experiences about safety freely. We take responsibility for our mistakes.

Non-negotiable Rules:

Respect the space. Leave no trace - whatever you bring, take it back with you. Ego has no place here. Learn and share with humility. Until the end of the pandemic, masks will be worn in the space. For longer workshops, you will be provided with an N95 mask. Keep underwear on at public events. Nipples may be free. Do not make unsolicited comments about anyone else's body. Do not take any photos of anyone in attendance without consent. Do not reveal the identity of anyone you meet in the space once you leave. Many people prefer anonymity. Be discrete when moving through other parts of the premises - the coffee shop staff downstairs did not consent to witnessing your kinks.

About the space:

The space is in an industrial building in Salt River with secure parking and 24/7 security. The space is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible: it is up two flight of stairs. We are able to bring our offerings to you if you are unable to access the space. The space is set up for rope, with floor-to-floor mats and hard points for suspension. There is a small store room available to store your personal belongings.

In this beginner workshop we cover the first 6 knots and techniques of Sh***ri, safety, consent , body movement, creating sensations and more, all culminating in how to use what you learn to build a beautiful harness.

One of our most frequently asked questions is; do we offer private lessons? And we get it! Sometimes learning in a group can feel very daunting and other times it can simply be a conflict of schedule. Whatever your reasoning is, we can confidently answer yes! Yes, we do.

Note that lessons, learning how to tie or bottom with an existing partner is different than a session (getting one of our team to tie you) but depending on what your needs are, we can also cater for sessions.

Bight Club is a monthly meeting for those who have the basics solidly under control and have attended at least one upper body harness workshop, such as the TK or Tengu. It is a rapid learning environment where confidence and fluidity is necessary in fundamentals such as single column and double column ties and various frictions. (Please get in touch if you are uncertain whether you are ready!)
