The Ethos of Embodiment Rope Space:

This is a sex-positive, kink-positive, pleasure-centric space. Friends of LGBTQIA+ people are welcome. We believe that rope is for every body. We challenge our pre-conceptions in this space. Community is essential for safety. We learn more when we learn together. Open hearts and open minds are welcome here. Treat others as you wish to be treated. We share this space out of joy and the pursuit of pleasure. Consent can be revoked at any time. We practice RACK. We share information and experiences about safety freely. We take responsibility for our mistakes.

Non-negotiable Rules:

Respect the space. Leave no trace - whatever you bring, take it back with you. Ego has no place here. Learn and share with humility. Until the end of the pandemic, masks will be worn in the space. For longer workshops, you will be provided with an N95 mask. Keep underwear on at public events. Nipples may be free. Do not make unsolicited comments about anyone else's body. Do not take any photos of anyone in attendance without consent. Do not reveal the identity of anyone you meet in the space once you leave. Many people prefer anonymity. Be discrete when moving through other parts of the premises - the coffee shop staff downstairs did not consent to witnessing your kinks.

About the space:

The space is in an industrial building in Salt River with secure parking and 24/7 security. The space is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible: it is up two flight of stairs. We are able to bring our offerings to you if you are unable to access the space. The space is set up for rope, with floor-to-floor mats and hard points for suspension. There is a small store room available to store your personal belongings.

It’s about how it feels.

This February, HenRigger and Rose return from Copenhagen to offer a rare, in-person workshop exploring the deeply emotional and minimalist rope practice of Yukimura-style Sh***ri.

This is a slow, floor-based approach where simple rope placements create vulnerability, trust, and presence. The focus is on connection, breath, and the internal experience of the person being tied, rather than complex patterns or visual display.

A full day of learning, feeling, and shared exploration, guided by educators with deep experience and a grounded, non-dogmatic approach to rope.

We are thrilled to welcome back international performers HenRigger and Rose from RopeSpace Copenhagen for a unique rope and water performance that is sure to captivate the audience. The evening will begin with an opening performance by Sudo and FireLily from Embodiment, creating a powerful and immersive lead-in to this exceptional showcase. We don’t often get treated to international Sh***ri practitioners visiting our shores, so make sure not to miss this one.

We are going to delve into the sensual side of rope for our first jam of 2026.

Come and explore the passionate dance between touch and trust, where jute rope sliding over skin awakens nerves in the most delicious way. The rope’s natural fibers carry their own earthy texture, sometimes soft, sometimes gently coarse, creating a rich contrast as they move and settle on the body. With each change in pace and pressure, from feather light strokes to firm, grounding tension, the body is guided into deeper awareness and surrender. Dive deeper into the unique bliss of feeling held, bound, and supported, in a quiet mix of vulnerability and control that allows the mind to soften and the senses to open.
