We are so honoured to walk beside Sharon and her family on her journey. The family recently joined us at our Open Gardens event, and what a wonderful day it was! From planning their route, strolling through beautiful gardens, to laughing and enjoying each other’s company, they reminded us of the simple joys that make life so special.

Love is the first thing you feel when you meet this beautiful family. Sharon’s love for her two boys is undeniable, almost something you can touch because it’s so pure, and their love for her shines through in every moment they share.

Sharon is a true inspiration - a strong, independent, witty woman, filled with a heart as big as her courage. Her determined spirit lights up even the darkest days, showing us all what it means to keep going, no matter what challenges life may bring us.

Together with husband Terence, they have raised two incredible young men, Adin and Jordan. The support and care they show their Mom is incredibly special, and something to be cherished.

Sharon and her family are a true gift - they’ve shown us, in the most heartfelt way, why we do what we do.💛

To honour our sister hospice, Hospice of the Western Reserve, Cleveland, Ohio, a Helderberg Hospice representative laid a wreath on their behalf at the Remembrance Day Service held by M.O.T.H. Battledress Shellhole in Fish Hoek.
