Today feels surreal.

On World Book Day, I get to share something that has lived inside me for so long… my book is finally here.

This isn’t just a “goal achieved” moment. It’s something deeper. It’s layers of healing, questioning, unlearning, and finding my way back to myself. This book holds pieces of me I didn’t always have words for — until I did.

It’s about identity, about the inner world we carry, about the quiet (and not so quiet) ways we’ve learned to survive… and what it looks like to meet ourselves again with honesty and compassion.

I feel everything. Pride, vulnerability, disbelief, gratitude… all of it.

It’s okay to feel tired, anxious, or drained right now. 🌿

The world can feel heavy sometimes—between work, responsibilities, news, and everything else life throws at us, it’s easy to feel like we’re carrying it all alone. And yet so often we’re told to “stay positive” or “keep going,” as if feeling overwhelmed is a failure.

Here’s the thing: it’s not. You don’t have to have it all together. You don’t have to be happy or productive all the time. You can simply pause, breathe, and give yourself the care you need.

In my latest blog, I explore why it’s okay to not be okay, and how small acts of self-care—resting, journaling, taking a walk, or just being gentle with yourself—can help you refill your cup and reset.

The world feels heavy lately.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, or emotionally drained…
this is your reminder that it’s okay to not be okay.

You don’t have to stay positive all the time.
You don’t have to have everything figured out.

Sometimes the most healing thing you can do is pause, breathe, and take care of yourself.

It's okay to not be okay 🌿

It's the beginning of March and social media is full of new month intentions.
Fresh goals.
New energy.
New mindset.

I’m not doing that today.

I’m not giving you “new month, new you.”
I’m not giving you another list of goals to chase.
I’m not giving you toxic positivity.

Because honestly?
There’s a lot going on.
This weekend has been heavy.
The world feels overwhelming.

And maybe you’re tired.

So here’s what I want to say instead:
It’s okay if you’re not okay today.
It’s okay if you’re tired of trying.
It’s okay if your only goal right now is getting through the day.
It’s okay if you’re grieving something no one else sees.
It’s okay if you’ve outgrown things and don’t know what’s next.
It’s okay if you’re unmotivated.
It’s okay if you’re angry.
It’s okay if you’re numb.
It’s okay if you’re just… done.

Just for today, forget about being perfect and getting all the things done on your to do list.

If today needs to be a pause — let it be a pause.
Switch the news off.
Put the phone down.
Cancel the pressure.
Take the nap.
Go for a slow walk.
Sit in silence and have a "do nothing" kinda day.

Take care of you today.

That is more than enough.

That is all.
