South Africa has one of the highest rates of GBVF in the world, and every day, women are losing their lives. On 21 November, Women For Change is calling on women to join the Womenโ€™s Shutdown and demand that GBVF be declared a National Disaster. This Shutdown is happening on the eve of the G20 to force global attention onto a crisis our own government has failed to treat with urgency.
