Global Collaboration, Learning, Sharing

As the International AIDS Conference comes to a close, we're absolutely inspired by our global peers. We shared over 30 presentations of EQUIP insights and results from our work in PEPFAR countries, and returning home with rich new insights. We're ready to get back to work, delivering technical assistance and services to Ministries of Health and local implementation partners, and helping reach UNAIDS 90-90-90 targets.

But first: Life Saving Treatment for Myanmar

The World Health Organization (WHO)'s first global study on HIV and Hepatitis C (HCV) coinfection revealed that not only are people with HIV at much higher risk of HCV infection (on average 6 times more likely), but high-risk populations, such as people who inject drugs (PWID), have an extremely high prevalence of HCV infection – over 80%.
