But silence doesn’t make a man strong.
Silence makes him unstable.

Men who don’t talk become men who erupt.
Men who erupt become men who harm.
Not because they are monsters…
But because they were never taught how to release pressure without violence.

Talking is not a weakness.
It is a prevention method.
It is the first step to ending GBV.

This Men’s Mental Health Month, we challenge the culture of silence.
We teach men to speak before they break.
We teach men to heal before they hurt.

Heal the man, protect the woman, break the cycle.

This is Masixole. His life was tragically cut short by his partner earlier this year. A life lost is a human tragedy, regardless of the victim or the circumstances.Yet, when a man is the victim, the default public response is often this (mostly from women) We reject this toxic narrative.
This is the lie men face: your pain is deserved, your life is conditional, and your humanity depends on your 'perfect' behavior. Abuse is abuse. Violence is violence. Period.
The mission of Echoes & Oaths ⚔️ is to end the victim-blaming and build a brotherhood where every man's pain is acknowledged, and his life is valued If you believe a man’s life is conditional, you are part of the problem. But real strength is the courage to face your inner demons, to voice your pain, and to break the cycle of violence before it starts.
