The lady belonging to the hand in the photo below, has been battling with eczema since mid August- and was told it was “contact dermatitis”.

But why? Why the right hand? Why the middle finger and why the spot in the middle of the palm?

When reading signs on the hands, we divide the hand into 5 vertical and 5 horizontal zones to form a grid- from fingers to wrist and from thumb to little finger

Her eczema falls in vertical zone 3 ( middle finger) pertaining to upper digestive organs and / or career & actions.
The spot on her palm falls into horizontal zones 3 (upper digestives and career/ actions as above); and 4 (lower digestive organs, and family and relationships).

The redness suggests anger / anxiety. The right side relates to a male/ yang/ doing/ work energy.
Issues affecting the hands suggesting difficulty “handling” something

As it turns out, she has just retired and has had a hectic time since mid August planning for a handover, and helping interview for people to take over her position. She has been under a huge amount of stress handling everything at work (Yang/ right hand/ zone 3)
Cholesterol has shot up (upper digestives)
And relationships have become cracked/ strained under the stress.

While cortisone cream will certainly help the discomfort, taking time now to be still, calm, “rest and digest” after the period of “fight and flight”, the eczema will probably fade away on its own 💫

Being under chronic stress puts
The body in constant “fight or flight” which can affect digestion, reproductive health, sleep, mood,
and increases inflammation which is bad for general health in the long term

🌿Reflexology can break that pattern and activate the “rest and digest” part of the nervous system

🌿This balances the body and stress hormones, and can lead to better sleep, improved digestion, less inflammation, stable mood, better resilience and many more benefits.

I’ve been having some great results using ear seeds from - used in conjunction with foot reflexology.

The tiny seeds are applied to reflexology points in the ears, relating to your specific problem areas, and remain in place for 3-5 days.

So far I have had exciting results with frozen shoulder (perimenopausal), back pain, and mental clarity and focus for studying. Definitely going to try them for other conditions too!
