From repair to rehab - we tendoned to it all 🙌🏽
Dr Serfontein and Marti Simpson deepened our understanding of tendon healing, protection, and the delicate tightrope balance between movement and safety in the early post-op stages.
One of the biggest takeaways: effective therapy doesn’t require fancy splints or equipment. Simple splints, slow and precise exercises, and strong clinical reasoning are what make rehabilitation successful.
It was a full day of learning, splinting, and great discussions in hand therapy. It’s always inspiring to see therapists come together to grow their skills, share ideas, and ultimately improve patient care.
We hope you’re able to take these insights back to your patients - and “be creative with care.”
A huge thank you to Dr Serfontein and Marti Simpson for the incredible clinical pearls ✨
And thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day such a success!
See you at Extensor Tendons 👊🏽👏🏽🤟🏽✌🏽
