Happy New Year everybody! πΈ
I'm sure most people start off the year very similarly, with a few New Year's resolutions, to get fit, eat better, and that's wonderful! But that motivation we start off with tends to fade relatively quickly, for a few different reasons, usually because that motivation to move comes from a place of negativity, wanting to change our bodies and our appearance because we feel we should look a certain way. I'd like to invite you to shift that way of thinking to rather wanting to move because you LOVE your body, because your body deserves kindness and it deserves movement that makes you feel good. This is my main goal when you join me on the mat, to help you connect with yourself in a way that feels like coming home, that makes you feel strong and that keeps you motivated and excited to move.
I have added a monthly Beginners Pilates workshop to the schedule starting this Monday, in Pinetown that will be perfect to teach you the basics and get you moving in a way that is challenging but accessible. Pop me a message if you have any questions πΈ
