Neutral Spine vs Imprint πΈ
neutral spine, in essence is finding the natural curves of the spine to activate the stabilising muscles of the core to help with improving our posture to avoid putting excess strain on the lower back during daily movement, whereas imprint is finding a slight posterior or backwards tilt of the pelvis, which is especially useful for beginners who are still building the physical awareness to feel those stabilisers switching on, further ensuring that we do not put excess pressure on the lower back throughout our practice π§ββοΈ Join me at Bloom Pilates in Musgrave for Mat Pilates and watch this space for the reformer classes with me coming soon πΈ
