I have to say.. One of the Hardest parts of becoming a mother is not the kids, its learning to love and accept this new version of yourself.

It's learning to let go of the person you used to be because no matter how hard you may try to be the same, you just Cannot be.

Multiple night wakes, functioning off 2 hours of sleep, eating when you can and being there for comfort 24/7 is your new norm. Your time is not your own.

It's difficult, its beautiful, its the best thing to happen to you but accepting that its a season and not forever is difficult.

Know you aren't alone or wrong for wanting 1 hour of silence, 1 hour to workout or 30 min bath alone. Mom's are super heros ... let's not forget it.

Here is to the Mom Version of you... The "new" you... the Better you! You can do this!!!

And that's a wrap of my maternity leave for the last time.
Baby girl started out in NIcu tor 9 days, grew from strength to strength.

Getting to hold her after the 9 days was just an indescribable feeling for both Daddy. Her brother kisses and calls her gorgeous on the daily, and she can't stop giggling at him. She has grown into the cutest, smiley, talkative, and chunky little girl that we love beyond words.
Unfortunately, she landed up in hospital over the long weekend with RSV just after Luca had Broncial pneumonia and is still not fully recovered, which is heartbreaking.

My last day on maternity leave was filled with a very upset , unsettled little girl who literally wanted to be stuck to Mama.

I am so thankful for my beautiful babies, but I have to say it's difficult with 2 little ones. They are my pride and joy, and seeing them unwell breaks my heart. They have given me so much more than they will ever know, and my love for them is endless..

It's time to get back into the world again and work hard for my beautiful family of 4!
