💉 Dermal Filler Facts You Should Know

Dermal fillers are injectable gels—most commonly made of hyaluronic acid (HA)—that restore lost volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial features.

Here’s what to know before booking 👇

🌸 What They Do

✨ Add volume to cheeks, lips, and chin
✨ Smooth lines and folds
✨ Improve facial balance and contour
✨ Rejuvenate hands or tear troughs

🕒 How Long They Last

⏳ Typically 6–18 months, depending on:

* Filler type
* Area treated
* Your metabolism & lifestyle

⚖️ Safety & Aftercare

✅ Choose a qualified medical injector
🚫 Avoid alcohol, makeup & workouts for 24 hrs
❄️ Use a cold compress for swelling
💧 Stay hydrated

💡 Myth Buster

❌ “Fillers make you look fake.”
✅ Good fillers enhance your natural beauty, not change it.

✨ Pro Tip

Less is more — the best filler work looks natural and balanced.

Remember: Subtle, balanced, and medical-grade is the key to natural beauty 💫

🌸 5 Spring Skincare Mistakes to Avoid 🌸

As the weather warms up, your skin’s needs change — but many people forget to update their routines! Here are the top 5 skincare mistakes made in spring 🌤️

💧 1. Skipping Moisturizer
Spring air can still be dry! Swap heavy winter creams for a lightweight, hydrating moisturizer to keep your skin balanced.

☀️ 2. Forgetting SPF on Cloudy Days
UV rays pe*****te through clouds — daily sunscreen is non-negotiable, even when it’s not sunny.

🧼 3. Over-Exfoliating
Warmer weather increases oil production, but too much exfoliation can damage your skin barrier. Limit to 1–2 times per week.

🪴 4. Ignoring Seasonal Allergies
Allergies can trigger redness and irritation. Keep skin calm with soothing ingredients like aloe vera or niacinamide.

💄 5. Not Cleaning Makeup Brushes
Warmer weather = more bacteria growth. Regularly wash brushes and tools to prevent breakouts.

✨ Healthy spring skin starts with small, consistent changes. Refresh your routine, protect your skin, and let your natural glow shine through! 🌼

🩵 World Psoriasis Day | October 29 🩵

Today we raise awareness for psoriasis, a chronic autoimmune skin condition that causes inflammation, redness, and scaly patches on the skin. It’s not contagious — it’s a disorder of the immune system, not hygiene or infection.

🔬 Key Facts:
• Psoriasis affects over 125 million people worldwide 🌍
• It can impact both skin and joints (psoriatic arthritis)
• Stress, infections, cold weather, and certain medications can trigger flare-ups
• Healthy lifestyle, stress management, and medical treatment can help manage symptoms

Let’s stand together to break the stigma, promote understanding, and support those living with psoriasis every day. 💪

🎗️ Cancer & Albinism Awareness

Individuals with albinism have little to no melanin, the pigment that protects the skin from harmful UV rays. This makes them more vulnerable to sun damage and skin cancer, especially in regions with high sun exposure. ☀️

🔬 Key Facts:
• Up to 90% of cancers in people with albinism are preventable with early protection and regular skin checks.
• Broad-spectrum sunscreen, protective clothing, and avoiding midday sun are crucial.
• Early detection through regular dermatological screening saves lives.

Awareness leads to prevention — and prevention saves lives. Let’s continue to educate, protect, and support individuals with albinism in the fight against skin cancer. 💛

✨ PRP Treatments: The Power of Your Own Body ✨

Ever heard of the “vampire facial”? 🩸 That’s PRP — Platelet-Rich Plasma — a natural skin rejuvenation treatment that uses your own blood to boost healing, collagen, and glow from the inside out! 🌿

💉 What is PRP?
A small amount of your blood is drawn, spun in a centrifuge, and the plasma rich in growth factors is injected or microneedled into your skin.

✨ Benefits:

Stimulates collagen production for firmer, smoother skin

Improves texture, tone, and elasticity

Reduces fine lines, acne scars, and pigmentation

Promotes natural radiance — no fillers, just you!

🕒 Treatment time: Around 45–60 minutes
📆 Results: Gradual improvement over weeks — best in a series of 3 sessions

💫 Why we love it:
It’s 100% natural and works with your body to restore youthful, healthy-looking skin.

✨ How Nutrition Affects Your Skin ✨

Your skin is a reflection of what’s happening inside your body — and nutrition plays a huge role in keeping it healthy, glowing, and youthful! 🌿💧

🥦 1. Vitamins & Antioxidants:
Foods rich in vitamins A, C, and E (like spinach, citrus fruits, and nuts) help protect your skin from damage and support collagen production.

💧 2. Hydration:
Water and water-rich foods (like cucumber and watermelon) keep your skin plump, reduce dryness, and flush out toxins.

🐟 3. Healthy Fats:
Omega-3 fatty acids in salmon, avocado, and chia seeds reduce inflammation and help maintain your skin’s natural barrier.

🚫 4. Avoid Too Much Sugar & Processed Foods:
They can trigger breakouts, inflammation, and early aging by damaging collagen and causing hormonal imbalances.

✨ Remember: Healthy skin starts from within. Feed your body right, and your glow will follow naturally!

Less is definetly more and here's a couple of examples!!!

●Less skin care products for acne prone skin is so much better
(see acne skin as temperamental..... Applying/stimulating to much makes it angry but applying/stimulating to little makes it sad. Stick with 1x cleanser and 1x moisturizer. You can add 1x hydrating serum as an extra stem. You'll thank me later. )

●Less makeup over acne prone skin
(apply more makeup will clog pores even more. Do a double cleanse if you wore make up!!)

●Less touching and picking
(STOP TOUCHING your face all the time and letting other people touch your face!!!!)

●Less pasta, bread and starchy/sugary foods
(Gluten intolerance can worsen acne when consuming to many gluten filled foods. Don't believe me? TEST IT and thank me later!!)
