Friendly Notice to All Current and Future FPOS & FREC Candidates

Over the past few weeks, several students have ended up at my table after realizing they paid for the wrong qualification.

Please take this as a friendly but important reminder:
βœ… Before enrolling, verify the accreditation body that issues your qualification.
βœ… The responsibility lies with you to ensure that you are paying for and completing the correct, regulated qualification.

Why this matters:
Regulated qualifications are a mark of professional competency. They are issued by authorized professional bodies and are monitored to maintain high standards of training and assessment.

In the UK, all regulated qualifications must meet the criteria set out in the Regulatory Arrangements for the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) β€” ensuring they meet recognized quality and compliance standards.

Choosing an accredited, regulated course protects your investment and ensures your qualification is recognized and respected in the professional field.

Our internationally accredited training syllabi is accepted by the UK Security Industry Authority as being a gateway to achieving a nationally recognised qualification that is respected worldwide.

Originally founded in 1985 the PBA was formed into a non-profit corporate body in 2008 and today is embodied by internationally adept specialists from a variety of backgrounds including Government Intelligence, Military and Police services who are now working in the Private Security Sector.

The Professional Bodyguard Association stakes its reputation on the ability to source and deliver bespoke security solutions and where required, training curricula to a wide range of organizations and individuals in both the private and public sectors operating worldwide. The PBA became an accredited centre with Pearson Education in Jan 2006 authorised to deliver all our BTEC training courses internationally.
