Good morning South Africa 🇿🇦 & the World 🌍
La Luz World condemns any form of hate speech or discrimination linked to Coronavirus
La Luz World would like to take this opportunity to share imperative information on the Coronavirus Outbreak.
Amidst the outbreak, La Luz World urges members of the public to take the necessary precautions to avoid being infected. We are calling on all everyone to undertake the responsibility of communicating the risks and prevention methods on social media and other modes of communication
It is of paramount importance that individuals refrain from circulating false or fake information that perpetuates confusion and severe panic.
The alleviation of the virus does not solely lie in the hands of the Health Department, therefore we call on all other departments, the private sector, the public and other stakeholders to join in the fight against Coronavirus.
We would also like to take this opportune moment to commend the Limpopo Provincial Government for hosting our dear brothers and sisters who were repatriated from Wuhan, China. May God bless the government of Limpopo under the capable and proactive leadership of Premier Stanley Mathabathatha and Health MEC, Dr Phophi Ramathuba.
We further call upon the public to avoid stigmatising COVID-19. Let's treat everyone infected or affected with courtesy and love.
